Giz caught up to the dragon and foul human. He let out a beaming smile, much unlike himself, and pranced around the dragon in the air. The smell of foul decay was back, but it smelled of sweet ice and dewdrops on grass to him.

the senses of the dragon were becoming twisted, an I knew I had to obey. To fight would be to forfeit my life.

Giz stretched in midair and flew out of the cavern. He twisted int he air and landed on a tree.
"Why in the world were we down there?"

My eyes narrowed and I began to shake in human fury. "Do you mean why were we down in that cavern?!" this could not could not could not could NOT be what he was asking. "We went down there because you felt like threatening your life in every way possible was what you needed to do to save your stupid island and WE came after YOU to save your BUTT!!!"
I turned my head away from Giz, my eyes downcast
