Strawberri Stardust
Lyra MacLeod
Mewsings of an Angel
The Bishop is so hard to move it almost seems that he's fighting against you. You finally get him settled into a new square and before you can take a breath, an opposing pawn sweeps him from the playing field.
You look up to see the headless face of the Cheshire Cat getting closer. The toothy smile is so close you can see the cat spit on the teeth. You cover your eyes hoping it's just a hallucination. Peeking out between your claws, you find yourself back in the cozy little corner where you started your day.

Alas, your journey to Wonderland ends here.
But.. You are not alone. A flamingo has followed you back from the untidy garden.

You successfully move the Knight to a square by the Rook and together they castle the opposing King.
Checkmate!
You see an opening in the hedge around the chessboard and you make your escape.
You burst through the hedge to find a strange looking creature
and a cautious knight sizing each other up.

If this is Wonderland, this must the Jabberwocky!
The two opponents appear to be readying themselves to do battle, but the knight seems to be trying negotiations first.
It appears that the knight had a prepared speech, but is forgetting the words.
You hear..
"Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe."
The knight pauses, obviously unsure of what to say next.
A shiny at your feet catches your eye.
A sword so bright it almost sings to you.
You know right away it's the Vorpal sword.
The only sword that can overcome the Jabberwocky.
What do you do next?
A. Do you offer the Vorpal sword to the knight?
B. Do grab the sword and attack the Jabberwocky yourself?
