The cube divided again into two more even smaller cubes. All of them finnally reaching the two after their slow advance had led them down the allyway.

Sol watched the happenings of the battle from a fire escape ladder in the alleyway, he quickly loaded an explosive dart into his launcher and dropped off the ladder, landing behind the cubes "sorry about disappearing on you guys like that, I remembered I had something to do" he said, taking aim at the blob that was closer to him and firing.
[I'm not sure what to calculate explosive damage as but my dart launcher does 1d6 so I would say 3d6 total perhaps?]

((Sure why not, I think you guys are gonna hate me for this next bit though. I need you two to roll a d20))
The explosion rocked the street as a dart landed inside of one of the cubes. The explosion hit the cube right on, sending small flecks of acidic material flying around. This material hit Shorn directly in the face, and he immediately fell to the ground screaming. It had begun to dissolve the bonds made by his nanoids, and the strange gears of his body were exposed.

((Better than Shorn's 5.))
The peices of the shattered cube evaporated in the sun, leaving behind a sickly green cloud as they went, holes had formed in the stone walls surrounding the group, and startled citizens could be seen on the other side.
Shorn quickly ran from the cubes, firing a blast off at them that went so far off it instead disintigrated a bird flying overhead. One of the cubes lurched forwards, attempting to absorb Leo into itself, but failing miserably and crashing into a wall which melted.

The axe chopped into the cube, casuing it ti shudder and dvide. The core slid away from the axe as it impacted the gelatonus material of the cube. Creating two more where there was origonally one.
