Slowly, the fool began to stir. Slowly, ever so slowly, he began to try and sit up. His hand slipped, accidentally, and he fell back to the ground, his bells jingling all the way. It appeared to be a normal Jigsaw pratfall. When he hit the ground though, words flew from him that were not normally heard. Jigsaw, for a few seconds at least, began muttering curses from a dozen different languages. Some of them were widely known, others no one even knew the fool was aware of. The voice these curses came from was a tad more harsh than Jigsaw normal vocalizations. As if realizing his slip up, the curses stopped as suddenly as they started, and again, he began to get up. It appeared a little more gracefully that his original attempt. When he was finally standing, he swayed a bit, before finally standing straight, and raising his head up to face the others. The pale mask was a little different, a bit darker than normal, like Jigsaw had tried to stick his head in a chimney. He then smiled. A very unsettling site, for the mask usually only shows very muted emotions. No, this was a full blown smile, and the small opening on the face designated as the mouth tried to wrap itself around the fool face with this smile"My apologies, my dear companions. I meant no harm, I simply tripped. 'twitch'. Let us away, then, to where we were before I took my leap of faith, shall we?" He then walked over to Ivy, and took her arm in his. This was not unusual, accept, for the warmth. Being the mask was simply inhabiting the fool's costume, the body temperature was usually negligible. Somehow, within the last few minutes, he had gained enough heat in his outfit, to have it radiate like a normal human body.... curious....

Lucid formulated in the hallway just short of the group, pausing to look them over. He was not at all surprised that nearly everyone had returned to his Haven. This place had a sort of magnetic draw that made people come to it. It was one of the many things he both loved and hated about living here. Clearing his throat softly, he strode forward, halting again a few steps from Ivory. "Greetings, everyone." he said, giving them all a slight nod. "Christiana, Arjay, it is wonderful to have you both back with us." He moved around to his daughter then, pulling her into a hug. He looked to Kyatora, Ivory, and Jigsaw, giving them a slight apologetic smile. "I am sorry that I have been neglecting my duties as a host here. I have been quite busy with some work as of late. However, now that this work is nearly done with, I promise that I will be more sociable."

Pleased by her fathers sudden appearance, Crissy smiled as he made his way over to her and eagerly returned his embrace. Cuddling into him, she sighed softly, knowing that she was being clingy and not truly caring. Tilting her head back to share her smile with him, she looked him over for but a moment. Tired, a bit worn...but she had seen him worse. He was obviously doing well enough. "I missed you daddy." she whispered, keeping her voice so soft that she knew none but her father and possibly Arjay could have heard her.

Her lips curled into a soft smile at the sight of Lucid walking over to them, it had indeed been a fair amount of time since she had last saw him walking out and about the castle. Seeing Jigsaw back to what seemed like a slight normality Kyatora relaxed only slightly when she heard the sound of a name that she had never heard of before, it was then that she felt a presence that she hadn't felt since her fist night in the Haven. He's back! Passed through her mind as she shifted her weight to see the male that had attacked her twice within her first night on the grounds of the Haven. Her own heartbeat picked up slightly as her eyes slowly widen in the shock and slight fear that arose within her, in all of her time within the Haven, she had never forgotten that night out on the plains. Doing her best to keep her composure for seeing that at this point in time he seemed to not want any sort of repeat from their previous encounter. Deciding that it was best to hold her tongue until she knew what exactly was going on at all with the sudden convergence of almost everyone that is a usual resident of the Haven here within the hall.

Lucid embraced his daughter tightly, nuzzling her. Two hundred years was a long time for his children to be gone, and he was very glad to have them back. "And I missed you. How have things gone with the council?" he asked quietly. "And where has your brother gone off to? I must have missed him on my way here.."

With one last hard squeeze, Christiana slowly pulled back and away, though her smile failed to dim in the least. "Knowing Julian, probably around your chambers. He said he was going ahead to find you and let you know we were here." she answered, her gaze drawn to the other vampire standing so close to her. She quickly pulled her gaze back to her father but her smile faded a bit. "Arjay found me in the plains on the way in. So we decided to give you an even better surprise."

Ivory frowned when Jigsaw took her arm, looking him over. Something was wrong, she could feel it. For some reason, she couldn't place the problem though. Whatever it was, she hoped it would be taken care of soon. "We were just on our way to get some food, Master." she said, giving Lucid a warm smile. "Would you care to grace us with your company?"

"Indeed, my lord. We grow famished. Come join us." Jigsaw closed his hand on Ivory's elbow, almost frantically. He began to move towards the kitchen, and rather than following, he was leading, for a change. And what an interesting change. His entire being seemed to almost radiate authority. Almost like he was used to being in charge. His stride was more determined, more forceful, and his voice was a tad deeper. If one didn't know any better, one could almost say Jigsaw had just gone through puberty...
His presence itself, it almost commanded attention...

Talon moved easily through the open window of the northern tower, making his way around closed doorways and obstacles born of years of flying throughout the castle. He probably knew these halls better than any other being with the exception of the ancient one. Reaching out with his ind, he simply felt for the vampire, knowing that his 'feeling' would become stronger as he neared him. Surprised to find that the ancient seemed to be somewhere near the entry hall he shifted in mid flight, turning in a sharp, tight circle that would normally have been difficult to pull off, but as of late, he had come to rely on such reflexes. Lifting higher into the air, he made his way over the rail of the spiral staircase that led to the upper chamber s and spotted the group...as well as Lucid. Letting out an echoing cry, Talon circled slowly above them, wanting to wait until he knew he had the vampires attention before he began his decent.

Lucid glanced up at the cry, then held his arm out for Talon. He hid his surprise very well under the unemotional mask. His gaze shifted to where his pet was being dragged off by Jigsaw. Heaving a small sigh, he touched Talon's mind. ;What brings you this way, friend?: he asked quietly. :I thought my son was still at sea?:

Talon slowly lowered until he gripped Lucid's arm firmly with his claw, taking care to avoid cutting the ancient. Reaching out he rubbed the top of his head lovingly against the vampire, pleased to be in his presence. :That he was, and is in a way. A storm damaged the ship and we were forced to drift. For some reason the sea pushed us not far from the Haven. Seth says we must stop.: he explained, spreading his wings, he shook slightly, before folding them back down against the body. :He and his crew are anchoring in the cove, he says they will not make it to another port. A few days will be all that is needed but he needs to know if it is safe for him and Lyra to return here? Or if you want him to saty with the crew and take Lyra away again?: he finished, taking the necessary information from his bonded.

Lucid thought about this for a moment, then shook his head. :It should be safe enough for her to return..and Seth may pull his ship into the safety of the cove. There are supplies in the under chamber there that he might find useful.: he said, reaching up to stroke the falcon's breast feathers. :I will come and meet them, if you would rather save your energy and rest a bit.:

Talon tilted his head and regarded Lucid through one dark gold eye. :Indeed. You just wish to dis-tangle yourself from your group madness. But I will take full advantage of the offer. I am quite tired.: he announced softly, not wanting to admit the small weakness but knowing it was true regardless. :Not to mention two people will be very thrilled to see you.:

Lucid laughed softly, giving the falcon a brief nod. :That is very true.: he said, then turned to regard his guests. "If you will excuse me, a matter has been brought to my attention that I need to deal with." he told them. "I will return to your company in a while." With that, he turned and strode down the hall and headed toward the back entrance.
