"Ter'Lenlar! So let us first head out to the portal. David picked up his weaponry. Well his bow and arrows since his blade was already in place. Then he put on his hood, stood up and walked up to the door which he opened and then waited for Shay to pass though it. Some parts of him remembered how to be a gentleman. "Let's hunt!"

Shay nodded in understanding and put on her hooded cloak. She tossed a few coins on the table, slid her bow in place and walked through the open door David held open for her. She grinned, "Don't think you can get on my good side by being a gentleman D-- I'm far more harder to get anywhere with." She casually said, yet a part of her knew she was lying. He already broke through one barrier-- but where one fell, their were thousands more to be opened. Shay patted his shoulder and jogged out in a run, yelling back. "Swift and deadly-- they'll never know what hit them!" She looked back for a moment with a grin on her face, stopped, and awaited for him to catch up.

He was after her soon coming up next to her keeping high speed. This was how hunters did it. Running fast and straight even if they climbed a mountain or ran over a log. "Swift and deadly!" He answered her as confirmation. He felt as if a deadly force was moving now, after all two hunters where moving and death followed their foot steps.

David parked the horse outside the in and got of the horse. Then he assisted Shay to come down as well. She seemed much less happy now then when they where riding together. He enjoyed her company but he needed to keep her safe. He knew why but something forced him to keep it with himself. The demon that hurt Shay would be found, yet he knew he couldn't do so without her. He couldn't just slay every demon now could he. "Shay I won't leave you." David mumbled the line a bit, not to mention saying it quiet and fast. Then he walked over to the door.

Shay kept her emotions in check and tried, to keep her rambling thoughts away from David and him leaving. Yet as he uttered the words she hoped him to say-- her eyes sparkled with joy, a smile grew at her lips, yet it all faded. She looked away, covered her face with her cloak and as David walked to the door-- Shay go ahead of him and opened the door walking inside before him as if she held no injuries. But underneath the cloak, her face showed ever painful movement and sweat began to form at her brow as the pain became a little over bearing-- causing her to find a chair to sit down and rest. She depleted a lot of energy and strength just trying to show David she didn't need him, trying to prove it to herself-- that she didn't need him. But she did.

David walked over to the barkeeper and ordered in water and meat. Some moonshine might have been best for the situation but David needed his head clean. Soon he came over to Shay with the food and water. "They have a room left. If we be staying the night that is!" He hid his face under the cloak right now for true they where hunters and the other people around made him defensive. He understood Shay, well more then any other being. They where the same kind and maybe that's why it worked. Two humans that needed another but could trust no one but their own. They where lucky in a way to find each other.
