When I was littler...i used to go to them alot... and i had tons of friends there, it was fun, and i dressed up in my traditional clothing, my mom beaded it...they were the most beautiful beadwork ever! I still go to them, but rarely b/c of all the contests...the only contests i loved was the Tiny Tots....i got pickle money >-< and i have always loved going to pow wows...i love the indian tacos and frito chili pie biggrin well...i went to one about a month ago...it was fun.

there was a pow-wow this june and i was head man dancer, my legs were sore for a while.
I have never been to one and I would love to go. What is it like?

no i have not but i wish my mother would take me to one. posibbly in the summer. I really want to go back to new mexico. i live in San Antonio Tx which really stinks so no pow wows here. Oh darn i'm stupid! Yes well not really. It was the folk life festival and there was dancing and food and stuff. It was much like a pow wow so i guess i have.
