well, your getting closer to the needed amount. As for me, I just discovered a new evolvable item(called the Death Whisper) that i just HAVE TO HAVE! So, i'm afraid I can't really donate any more or else It will take that much longer for me to build up the required amount to get this super-expensive item.
So, I hope you get the amount needed to re-start the guild soon. Are you able to delete the old guild? If so, then completely get rid of the old guild once you create the new one, instead of just abandoning the old one.
That will leave less confusion for future members so they don't see two guilds with the same name, same theme, same owner and such, and have to figure out which one is the new one.

Hmm... I think I can spare 10k
Even though you only need 6k, you might need a little extra for Subforums and everything, since they cost a good 2.5k
And also a little gold for contracts and everything could help, so 10k sounds reasonable ^^
