The prince pulled Katara towards the window, keeping in mind that the threat of Azula could quickly turn the tables. His one hand was useless, that was for sure. He also made sure that Aang was coming with them. He looked for Toph and then noticed that she was in danger. "Toph, look out!" After saying that he realized that 'look out' was a bad choice of words.

Toph felt the change of Sakura's movements, and she suddenly sank down into the stone ground, out of sight. Walls of rock began to appear out of the ground, threatening to surround Sakura on all sides. The Earthbender then appeared at Zuko and Katara's sides, prepared to take on anything that Azula or the others threw at her.

Issaru Stepping onto the battlefield next to Toph, Katara, and Zuko and looked at they're conditions, seeing they were rather tired. "Let me look at this...Miss Katara. "spoke Issaru as he examined her injuries. "You are exhausted....since you can't rest here, I'll give an herb that'll give you a boost of strength and stamina. It'll not recover you're injuries though, but it'll make sure you keep fighting. Eat it quickly." said Issaru as he offered Katara an blue grounded up herb to swallow.
Standing to see Zuko and seeing the same condition as Katara, offered him the same herb. Watching his foes closely he awaited for them to make they're next move, wondering what they might do, either retreat or continue fighting.

As the prince pulled himself and bade the others to follow it quickly called the attention of the woodland stag, made mostly of cactus to make it heat resistant and difficult to drain water from. Its long sharp antlers lowered, as they made there way closer, an act of defense made instinctively. Meanwhile the obscure child slept under the window seal her body twitching slightly as a dog would when it would dream. Twitch, twitch; at every movement made outside of her mind, she could feel it as well as Toph, though mainly on the grass and of course not in the same way. From the back of her mind she could smell them approaching, hear them step over the grass she made, she could see it all through closed eyes due to whispers, that only a trained wild child could hear, from the jungle vegetation that has recently. Yet she lightly slept for the time being, subconsciously waiting for the opportune moment, and gathering new energy and strength from the sun that danced over her.
