The sunshine shone upon a brand new day. My love had said, “To be thy self be true.” The sunshine sweet and summer heat did blaze. My heart had sung a melody a new.
I told my love my heart for him is his. He spoke with eyes and not his gentle voice. Our love can be as passionate as this. His upturned hand, I knew I had my choice.
“Please take my hand and be with me my love.” The honey suckle wind blew all around. My hands found his and as our fingers wove, We sat entwined upon the soft green ground.
The restless flowers danced without much fuss, The rings we share now close the space for us.
