This side-forum is for Haksu's (and her companions) world. In Thornshield's story I would imagine the world to be different... which is fine for me, really. I imagine Thornshield's story to be different from Haksu's, yet they both exist in both stories.
Confusing? Yes, yes it is. :[/])

The world Haksu is born, is chaotic and cruel world.
The humans that live in this world, are usually un-happy, they work hard because that's the only way they'll live and they'll usually still get killed by a goblin or a muggler. And if they have kids when they die, those kids will die too because there's no one to give food to them. Even though there are gods in this world, there are no miracles - they might give a blessing but doesn't mean you would be immortal.

That being said, you can pretty much relate this world to our beloved earth, how it was at 1500th century.

However, there's not as much discrimination... and not as many chauvinists like in our world. This would be because of the colorful amount of races. Normally, yes, women do stay inside and take care of the kids/food because women are usually born with smaller and more fragile body than males. And yes, most humans shun a person with green slimy skin, because it looks icky.
Oh and one big difference in this world is that elves are actually considered to be a cousin race of humans. Since you know, they only have taller ears and are somewhat more fragile.

The line between humans, monsters, animals and demons are often very, very thin, and these terms are used in many ways.
Wolves, bears and lions would be considered to be a monsters, a tentacle monster with good intentions would be considered to be an animal.
