The Eloc Prodigy Vahn

PostPosted: Tue Feb 12, 2008 5:49 pm

Vahn had snuck onto a traveling boat, one of the boats, since the main was so big, that it couldn't fit any closer, so smaller boats would take travelers to the Port City of Juni-Anek, the third biggest city of the realm.

The Port City had almost everything the boat had, it was mainly used as a upply city at one time for the boat, and then got bigger from there. This was the main place in which mercenaries were hired in order to help the Demonica take down the Eloc, so this says a lot for the reputation of the city, which is now overrun with crime and corrupt leaders and even moreso followers. This massive city, however, is mainly middle district and port district to help supply the main ship, and then, mainly taverns and guard towers scattered about. The most famous being a bar/tavern known as the Nightdrink, a place where people have mainly disappeared, obviously, at night. The way to the main city, however, is crowded by a massive forest, and scattered building. With no map, this makes Juni-Anek a tough city to navigate.

Guard Captains-
Maya Demonica- the first woman to become a captain through ways of magic, without help from the family, Lady Maya Demonica is considered the leader of the city, and her magical talents are known, scattered far and wide.

Seiryu Ishiyma Eloc- an adopted child of the Eloc clan, he was the first to betray the family with Legna, in which, handed the family over to the Demonica. He has trained, knowing that Vahn was still alive, and wanting to be the one to kill Vahn. His fighting style, known as the "True Eloc Style" is feared, and Ishiyma knows how to use it, and isn't afraid to do so, sither.

Important People-
Rha-Jin- a black market weapons dealer, and one of the leaders of the resistances, Rha-jin is one of the supporters of the Eloc Clan, and often gets into public fights with Ishiyma. He wields a massive artificial arm which grants him his in-human strength.

Rayven- an Enigmatic Criminal seen around Juni-Anek as of late, he has easily avoided both captains numerous times in numerous situations. Apparently a master of an unknown fighting style.

Where are we?
Mostly, with the exception of Vahn, and those who chose not to post yet, on the boats, heading tot he mainland, the port city ahead. The others, those who haven't posted, are probably somewhere in the city, and Vahn has been in hiding since four days ago.

And his chapter is open for posting.

Sterre landed on the shore, not bothering to tie up the boat she had taken with force from the person using it. Her body was still wearing the kimono, but it was covered with a long cloak now as she held her bundle on her back. No one could even seem to see the bag she carried on her back as she continued walking. 'At least the last corpse gave me something to cover this wretched thing.' She noticed someone looking towards her, but she could have cared less about it. Her hair was up in its bun and remained where it was always to be unless needed.

Darc, having arrived at the town a day before from God only knows where, was currently wandering around the streets looking for a bar of some sort. *Damn, I could really use a drink. Let's see... this place looks good.* He thought, as he approached the Nightdrink.
He walked in and sat down at the bar. "Give me one... whatever you've got." After he received his glass of... whatever it was... he promptly paid for it and started drinking. He started choking a bit. *Haaa... it's a bit stronger than I expected. Not bad, though.*
Setting his drink back down for a moment, he took the opportunity to look around the room. It was definitely in better condition than a lot of the bars he'd been in, and the drink wasn't bad, either. *I like this place.* Darc thought, and promptly pulled out a small, leather-bound book and a pencil from a pocket. Flipping past all kinds of scrawled notes, drawings, maps, and other things, he found a blank page and wrote down: "Juni-Anek- Nightdrink Bar. Visit again sometime." This deed finished, he replaced the book and pencil where they were and resumed his drinking.

Rajin woke up locked in a cage, "damn, why does this always happen..." he thought, though he wasn't ever sure what he was complaining about as he was brought ashore, he was taken from the cage to be looked over one last time, they pulled him out and set him on the table and as they turned around to grab something he changed into his human form once more.. "whew that was some ride, lucky i don't really have anything of value, so ill be off..." Rajin said as he hoped down from the table and walked away, and had more then enough time to do so since the examiner was in so much shock he didn't want to turn around.

Vahn looked up, the boat pulling to a dock as he was wrapped in a massive cloak, which hid most of everything from the public view as he stepped off the boat. Noting that Sterre was probably the person getting off the boat ahead with the other massive cloak, Vahn kept quiet as he stepped from the boat. A couple guards stood watching over the people, casually as one even ate an apple as Vahn walked past. Then, he seen them, both of them.

"Whaddaya mean this is a problem?" The first captain said to the second, a female as he stood with blue hair, walking down slowly with her.

"I've told you," she spoke evilly. "Two of them in the same region is bad enough, let alone one like Vahn." She stood with the average build man next to her as she was a little taller than he was, with long black hair, and a full set of cloaks and robes, connecting to bracelets and such to give her the appearance of a walking spider.

"You tryin' to say that I'm bad for this city?" Ishiyma, the other, with a traditional Eloc cloak re-made with the Demonica signature, which flew casually behind him.

"I'm saying you destroy stuff, you big Eloc bafoon!" she spoke loudly, people murmuring as they passed her. Vahn had known both of them... or at least heard of them as he walked past them, seemingly, to Vahn, time slowly down as he did so. He had no less then taken several steps past them as Maya turned around. "You, halt!"

Vahn listened as she walked over.

"You dropped this," she said, holding out a locket as Vahn looked to it. She smirked as Vahn looked at it through his left.

"I didn't come with a locket, my lady," Vahn simply spoke before turning away as her eye twitched, looking at the Eloc walking away as Ishiyma came up next to her.

"Looks like he knew what it was," he smirked as the next thing his knew, he was backhanded with it, Maya walking after him as Ishiyma recovered. "I'll stay here, then." he said, turning back around as he sighed. "b***h," he muttered under his breath.

"I HEARD THAT!"

***

Vahn had turned a corner as he came unto a massive square, bustling with a lot of people, and many different types as Vahn walked over to the first place that caught his eye- food. The man behind the stand smiled, turning around as he waved. "What can I get for you?"

Vahn smiled as Maya walked in, sitting next to him as Vahn had taken off the hood. Cutting him off, Maya smirked. "Two bowls of Shrimp Ramen, and a plate of Dango," she ordered as the man bowed before running off the get the ramen.

"You know, technically, I'm supposed to be buying for you, right?" Vahn joked commonly as the captain sat down next to him. "Why follow me?" Vahn's voice got serious.

"Please," she laughed. "You're the first one to know what that locket would've done, so your either Demonica-" she picked up the tea set down by her. "-or Eloc," she spoke, sipping the tea.

Vahn simply did not speak.

Sterre turned into a few other areas before stopping at one specific one. There stood the demonica from before, looking at the blood on the kimono. However, he was smiling. "You didn't fight the target, correct?"

"Of course not."

"You're as good as we expected, 'Zef.'" The person offered his hand to her and led her towards a resturant, one that seemed to sell food she didn't particularly like. "I thought I should treat you before taking you to him, Catherine."

"Of course." She spoke, her hair still put up as he ordered. "Corpses eat."

"I'm neither," Vahn responded as Maya quirked an eyebrow. He picked up a piece of the fresh dango, popping it into his mouth. He chewed it slowly as Maya spoke.

"Then just who are you?" Maya asked, chuckling as Vahn looked over.

"I'm the creator of the Demonica's two most famuos pieces of technology," Vahn continued. "The LFS and the REs-Bangle, which you tried to give me to subdue and analyze my energy," the Eloc slyly explained as Maya rose an eyebrow.

"And your name?" Vahn sighed as the captain spoke.

"It's Dracolov Noira," he said as he stood up, Vahn walking out as Maya turned around, drawing her blade as it met inside Vahn's chest as Vahn cringed as she smirked.

"You see, I met him last week. That's when I got this pretty little thing, Vahn Eloc," she spoke, opening the locket and seeing the image of two men, Vahn, and a man who looked a little older than him. "This locket was made special, to only surpress the Eloc energy signature almost completely. The two of you that are left. And now, I have one of them."

"Are ya sure?" Vahn smirked as he cocked his head as if nothing was wrong. "Please, Lady Maya, I'd double think this once more. The last time you seen me I was two years old. I'm older now, and a little more powerful. "He spoke as the blade started to turn orange. Maya let go of it was her hand had started to smoke, Vahn pushing the katana out the back as he shifted his body to the side, the wound cauterizing itself. Vahn then winked as Maya jumped up, starting a chase as Vahn jumped up to the roof, Maya chasing him as she made the jump easily as well.

The Demonica was actually catching up with Vahn as he turned around in mid-air, his hand igniting as he shot a hole through the roof as she overshot it, Vahn falling into the whole as he landed on a table, breaking it down as he looked at everyone in a resturant, noting his good friend, Sterre.

"You can kill me later," Vahn groaned as he ran out the down, a shadow blazing from the roof as it followed him down the street., before Vahn wall-jumped as he bounced in between them, getting back up to the roof, heading towards the square.

Sterre didn't say anything, nodding in response after he left. The servant seemed surprised at this. "You didn't kill the target on the ship, it would have made it faster." He looked towards her, unsure of what to say.

"He is not destined to be a corpse yet." Her voice spoke, the food arriving as she began to eat. "It is not yet time."

"If you are sure." The servant cringed at the aura emitting from her, it was something only a killer like a Wilbert could let out.

Sterre was now walking through the town towards where she was to finally meet this 'master' of his. Along the way, she saw a corpse she didn't recognize too well. Either way, she thought this one had no purpose either. The servant to the master tripped him, and she shrugged it off. After all, it wasn't her job to help a corpse stand up.
