I have only read the first book, but so far the writing is absolutely amazing. I love how Jeff Lindsay uses his words to create this vivid image of the way things are in the world of Dexter.

mrgreen Visit your local library and place a request for "Dearly Devoted Dexter" and "Dexter in the Dark." Trust me, it'll be totally worrth it heart

The first book was great, but in my opinion the series goes rapidly downhill from there. neutral

I've only read the first book because I didn't want to buy the other three incase I didn't like it.
I couldn't believe how the first one ended... Complete shocker. I asked for the next three books for Christmas so hopefully I enjoy them.
