"Very well then. If you want to hear my resolve to live, here it is." Hisaki took a deep breath and spoke again in a much stronger voice uncharacteristic of her.
"I, Zenshou Hisaki, will live to seek out justice!"

As you shout out your resolve you see the darkness underneath you open up and as you pass out of it..... Appears underneath you, the cat-ninjas all begin to disappear one by one in a poof of smoke until only the friendly male is left. "Welcome to Kitoukoku (The Kingdom of the Feline), Human!" He gives a friendly smile then disappears in a poof of smoke. However......you are still falling to the ground and eventually crash into the river just outside of the town in an anime-esque explosion of dust.

"What? Whoah!" Hisaki yelled as she fell into the river. She flailed around for a second before regaining her composure and swimming to the surface. With a few powerful strokes she made her way to the shore and climbed on the bank.
"Ok, I'll travel along the river bank until I reach some sort of gate or something. Then I'll try to find some locals and ask them about where I am and see how to get out of here. I wouldn't mind finding my forehead protector too."

After arriving inside of the city you find it to be abandoned aside from cats of all variety moving here and there. They all look up at you and give you a "Meow" in greeting as you make your way to the central castle.
~Inside the Castle~ You see the catpeople that were falling next to you all assembled in front of a large cat sitting on a throne.
"You have done what only one other human has accomplished in the last 200 years. Tell me your story, human."

As Hisaki walked by the scores of cats, she couldn't help but think of her own pets. She sent them to her parents since she just didn't believe it was fair for them to stay in her cooped up apartment when she was away on missions, even if the kind old lady in the apartment next door stopped in to feed them and take care of them.
As she reached the throne, Hisaki knelt on one knee. "My story sir? How far back do you want me to begin? My birth, my becoming a shinobi, or just what brought me here?"

The larger, elderly cat sitting on the throne tilts its head to the right slightly, "An interesting rebuttal, human. Your story of what lead you to being chosen to enter our Kingdom will suffice though we may find that story may cover the rest."

"I.. I didn't mean to offend you sir. I don't really know how I came to be chosen. I was recuperating after surviving a battle that took two of my closest companions away from me, when a small rabbit-like creature stole the headbands of me and another surviving companion. We chased the rabbit and got separated, and I fell down a deep ravine. The rabbit jumped down too, and disappeared, turning into your female companion. Your other two companions joined me, how I do not know. They asked me if I wanted to live or die. I replied that I wanted to live, and they asked me to say it stronger. I did, and I appeared here. I made my way to the biggest building, and here I am."

The eldest cat nodded his head, "Yes that is Ryo-ohki, the courier to our lands. He seeks out those who's hearts are in the very depths of dispair and escorts them here. You spoke of headbands that were taken from you, they must have been important to you to run after him into a snowstorm."

"Yes," Hisaki nodded. "They are very important to us. They are a symbol meaning that we are shinobi of our homes, sworn to protect our cities. Would Ryo-ohki be willing to give them back? And have you heard news of the companion I lost in the snowstorm?"

The elder cat lets out a laugh, "Oh ho. ho.. you are kunoichi. I should have realized, we have not had one of your kind here in a long...long time."
His laughter turns into a bit of a cough for a moment, "No, the outside world offers little interest to Kitoukoku. But for your arrival I will assume this tale is a great tragedy. Start from the beginning."

"It was a tragedy."
Hisaki nodded.
"I was sent on a mission to the Snow country to assassinate a certain individual. I went with two of my closest friends who were also shinobi of the Leaf. We were accompanied by an old friend of mine from the Shadow country and her three genin. We assaulted the place where the target was staying along with some local forces. But the target was protected by a powerful organization. They used a machine to shoot kunai at us and my comrades died saving my life. Only me and my friend from the Hidden Shadow survived the assault. A member from the organization said we we now "Sannin" and then left, but I don't really feel like a Sannin. I couldn't even protect those most important to me."
Hisaki's eyes began to fill with tears as she spoke.

The cats all listen to your story, the youngest one even pulls out a tissue and starts to wipe her eyes, though the older female cat-ninja nudges her to pay attention.
The elder cat listens intently, his ears flattened out against his head. "Yes... a story that is told in the endless waltz of the Sannin. But I have a question for you, human, is your resolve great enough to avenge your friends? You have two choices.... you will learn to master the power of Kitoukoku and avenge your friends from this certain individual. Or will you content yourself to a life in exile from the real world?
I should tell you one thing about coming to this land.... unless you Master our training you will become nothing more than a mere statue. And those who are only partially able to master the training will become half-feline." He looks at the gathered ninja-assistants as he says this.
