Luminita rubbed her eyes, taking in her surroundings. She grasped Illuminatus' hand. "We've got to do something," she whispered.

"We can." He replied quietly, but oddly calm. He slowly took a piece of paper from his pocket and folded it into a crude airplane. The paper was covered in black runes.
"Wait...." Saraz squinted at the paper. Illuminatus lobbed the plane at him and pulled Luminita behind the stone table that held Esrath's limp body. Midway to Saraz, the plane glowed blue and with a blinding flash, every solid thing within a ten foot radius was covered with a three inch coating of ice, while thumb-width rods of ice formed all around like some odd spiderweb, connecting the frozen objects and frozen Dark Lord.
"That won't hold him for long," said Illuminatus. "We've got ten minutes, tops." He tried to pull Esrath off of the table, but 70 feet of snake was extremely heavy. Esrath opened one golden eye, and weakly shifted his body. "Oh, no. I'm no good at healing! I should have paid more attention in class!" Illuminatus's face was pale, and he looked at Luminita. "Can you heal him?" Asked Illuminatus.

Snapping and crackling. Patronuses could travel far-but not exactly stelthly.

Illuminatus jerked his head around, but saw nothing. He turned back to Luminita and looked at her with desperation in his eyes.

With a final crack and snnnnnnnnnnnAP the pather jumped out infront of the students, hazy and growling.
