Bio: Kanoko grew up in Osaka, Japan, for the most part. Her father and mother weren't married for long, so she can't remember ever having spent time with both of them. Her father raised her for as long as he could, but he died in an accident when she was towards the end of her eleventh year.
She moved to England to live with her mother just last year upon her father's passing. While there, she learned about how her mother and maternal grandparents were all wizards and witches. She's awfully excited to get to attend Hogwarts and learn magic, but she's also worried that she isn't going to fit in all that well with the other kids.
Personality: Kanoko can be a real spaz when she's around people she doesn't know. She gets nervous easily, intimidated even more so, and loses all her language skills when under such pressure. If you can manage to approach her without scaring her, she's an extremely kindhearted, albeit slightly naive, girl. She also seems to be lacking in some common sense, it'll occasionally appear, but that's just the culture gap.
Pet: An Eurasian Siberian eagle owl named Hayate
