Windy tensed, as did her Leopard. Luckily he had not yet disappeared from his scouting mission in the woods. Windy took a minute to notice the tracks, but the moment she did her leopard started following them.

Regla gave a quick cutting motion to her throat and mouthed quickly and angrily to Windy.
'Call it back!' she silently screamed, 'If it goes out there they find out about us! They might not know there are organized survivors!'

Windy glared at Regla then nodded. The leopard returned, then faded from vision. Windy closed her eyes and seemed to enter a meditative state.

Regla pulled down her eyelid and stuck out here tongue, straightening back out and throwing a knife at a nearby tree. A large squirrel fell out, dead.
"Gotcha!" She shouted, sheathing her daggers, "You really think that 'invisible spirit thingamajig' is going to help us if we run into a real battle? We're facing real enemies here, and I think you should probably learn how to fight or how to die really quickly."

Windy opened her eyes and Scoria reappeared, along with a host of other spirits, including the Squirrel that Regla had just killed. "We are now ready for battle."

((Sorry, I thought Windy had nodded at the leopard and pointed. Rereading your post, that was just in my head, though. Anyway, too late to change it now.))
"We?" Regla asked, raising an eyebrow and not even trying to hide her contempt, "I hope to the gods you mean the three of us, 'cause we're not gonna win with some invisible creature you think can kill. Anyway, let's go. The longer we sit here the longer we have to be found. Those footprints there weren't from the squirrel, and whatever left them might not even be out of earshot yet. We need to move."

"I think that the ten or so random animal spirits behind us might attract some attention, don't you?" Windy said. "Let me send them to see what's going on."
And the spirits began to disperse.

A man seemingly as if he were a ghost came walking through the wood, he was pale yet he walked with an omnious aura, the aura emitted a dark pressence, with each footstep the stranger took it seemed that the birds of the forest feared and fled in the opposite direction, as for the trees and the wind when it past let out a silent cry from the brush of each wind, the wood new this stranger was in deep sorrow and granted him a safe passage through as he was harmless enough
