The message he got said that he was scamming (artificial inflation)

Thats so weird!
I was just thinking the other day too, when he put up the post about placing a 'Buy' thread in the Wanted Forum that I should warn him about my other friend who got banned from here for placing up a thread like that, then he got offered to buy a whole loot of MCs for really cheap. The guy who was selling it was a hacker who had broke into this person's account and was trying to unload all the items so he could transfer just gold to his main account instead of all the MCs. It took my friend like 6 months to get it straightened out.
But, if Gaia said it was for Scamming/AI..That is really weird. Unless someone in this guild reported him for the thread where we were discussing AI...thats the only thing I can think of. He was never really AI'ing anything. Unless you count AI as raising it by 1 or 2k.
Too weird...
I hope he gets his account back in tact. He should use a mule for now because it will probably be awhile before they can sort it out. My boyfriend has been waiting for 7 months to get his banned account back. He got banned for botting..which was also a ridiculous accusation.

Ive talked with him and he was really pissed off
If the excuse for banning is "Artificial Inflation" then I dont think its fair even if he did that, which I dont think he did... "Artificial Inflation" as you guys called it is part of the game, just a mechanism to make money, that kind of thing happens even in real life, not so frequent tho =P
If they dont want it to happen then put a minimum and a maximum value for each item, or simply end with the market, and then we will see how gaia is going to work... A lot of people like me who doesnt buy cash is going to leave the game, and I think that becasue I will never pay for this game and Im sure it will be a pain in the a** if you cant do s**t for getting easy gold to buy your crap.
Sorry for my bad spelling, Im just pissed off for the that so called "artificial inflation"
Btw I think Damion is going to get unbanned son, at least I hope so =)

Hopefully he will because like callie said no one really posts around here withought him so it's really quiet and boring... So hoperfully yea. Otherwise who's going to run the guild from no on? He never promoted anyone to vice captain..

That sucks that that happened, but bull. They don't ban for AI. Because that would hit so many people, so many exchangers and vendors, it would create such a mess.
Besides, with all the AI that's been happening lately, it would show that they haven't been very vigilant. wink
Can an actual copy of the reason be posted here?

Hi guys! It's Damion (on my very expensive avvy wink ) So I haven't got an answer back from the staff about my account. I don't think it was the artificial inflation thing, reason why I was discussing it before was because I thought that had been why. Now, I really don't know, and I'm just kinda guessing until they respond to my email. Here's what they said to me in the email: GaiaOnline Your account Damion Asmodai is permanently banned because of the following reason: Terms of service violation: scamming Scamming. We reward our users with Gold and hard to find rares, but we have no tolerance for people who try to take other users' assets with get-rich-quick schemes or promises of rare items. Running any kind of scam - including but not limited to lottery scams or trade scams. I didn't run any scams, so that's why I thought of the AI topic first when I started wondering why I got banned. Now, I'm thinking it's just because my account got so rich, so quickly. I mean, I basically had 1 mil of items on it right when it got banned, and for the first time since I began running the market I was turning all those items into gold. But I don't know. lol, if they don't give my account back, I may just quit Gaia. This is silly. However, if I don't quit Gaia, I may just start a *new* guild with basically the same concept, and have you all rejoin! haha, while it's a bit much, there's no way I can run this guild without having the ability to accept/decline new members and monitor topics.

Permanently??! Damn thats some serious s**t! Lol I know. Turns out, it takes 18 months for them to look at it even if I'm innocent, so I'll be waiting a while. I've decided not to quit Gaia. If you guys want to donate or help me out to get me off my feet, I'm willing to accept donations. Otherwise, wait a few weeks. Once I get back on 100k or so, I'll begin running the MP again and get rich fastlike (hopefully)

Anyways, I'm staying in Gaia!
My other mule accounts have almost entirely liquidated their assets, and I'm back to about 100k or so in gold.
I plan on buying a guild pretty soon, but I'm trying to decide which account will be my main. Not this one- I made it fresh when my account got banned and it's empty.
I'll keep you all posted
Edit//again: I've been talking a lot with the mods. It looks like someone got into one of my mule accounts and got me banned through it, I don't know exactly how it happened yet but I'll figure it out soon. Until then, I made a guild. lol
