"FRIENDS, ON BEHALF OF THE MASTER OF THE CITY, I WOULD LIKE TO INVITE EVERY DENIZEN OF THE GREAT CITY OF SAN ANTONIO TO A MASQUERADE BALL! COME, DRINK, BE MERRY, AND TAKE PART IN THE FIRST COSTUME CONTEST!
This party will last from now, through All Hallow's Eve... and on through the weekend until the sun comes up on Monday, November 5th!" Keever announced with great pleasure, using his natural talents of a vampire to carry his voice from the top of the Tower of the Americas- where he stood- all over the city- and even into the smaller cities that seemed to be engulfed by San Angonio. He really didn't know if Spike would be alright with this party, but it was very good publicity for vampires; and he had gone to the trouble of making all the arrangements.

Hearing someone scream from the top of the city's high point, Lyre looked up from the floor from hours on end of staring and thinking. He hadn't left the apartment in three days time; too scared to move outside at night. He didn't fully understand what he was but the name Vampire seemed to ring something in his head. Maybe the party that one man was bellowing would help him. Maybe there were more like him out there that could help him understand. He was desperate and after thinking about it for a while, he grabbed his jacket and flung it on as he set out for the night. He headed downtown on his bike that he used to get to school and work every day but it seemed like he wouldn't be using it for that anymore. The school had even called each day wondering where he was. His mother never came home those six days. It didn't surprise him though, his Mother finally got murdered he guessed. She did walk the nights slutting around the dark parts of the city. He didn't really care. Not anymore. All he cared about now was heading to that party.

((For anyone who doesn't like reading: the second paragraph is pretty much a description of looks... and possibly and insult thrown in. o.0 ))
With a pleased smirk gracing his feminine features, Keever calmly stepped foreward, off of the edge of the tower. If it had been a mortal, they would have fallen to their death. Fortuneatly for him, Keever was not a human, and therefore was able to simply float downwards until his feet landed softly on the ground. He did not appear to have been thinking of it very hard, as though the action was second nature; he made no outward sign to indicate how difficult it really was to control the speed of his descent and resist his body's natural urge to submit to gravity's pull.
The action was the only thing about him that hinted at him being a vampire of any noteable skill or strength. His outter appearences made him look like just another man who ran to the Church of Eternal Life and became a vampire as a way to cheat death- after all, he didn't look like the type who would go there for the religous part of it. His black hair was put into a high poneytail that made it look shorter than it was, but it kept it out of his pale gray eyes. He didn't bother dressing like a representative of the Master of the City because he doubted the master would really do much about it. Just another thing that made this place different from all the other cities he had been in. Instead of the conservative suit that one would expect, he wore a skin tight black tank top that only covered half of his chest, and a pair of baggy orange pants that covered his black boots- and their orange shoe laces. Orange and black arm socks that ended at the base of his fingertips completed the outfit. The fact that he hadn't fed that night showed in the way his normally pale skin seemed to glow in the moonlight.

Monique watched as the Vampire desended from a great distance away. A soft growl in her throat caused the wolf to move from current comfy spot and into the crowd, moving inbetween them without actually touching anyone with great skill.
Her hair was set free tonight as she wore a black leather bodis that she had gotten at some random shop at a faire she used to go to. And to match this top, she wore tight leather pants and her knee high boots. All Hallows Eve always made the beast within her anxious and ready to have fun. She had allowed her fangs to extend along with her claws, her eyes turning the color of a wolf.

To anyone who usually used things like 'common sense', going to a giant party started by the guy who was with the psycho guy who was trying to kill her was a stupid plan and something that should be avoided. To Lauren, it seemed like fun. Well, if by 'fun' you mean 'it was a party filled with drunk people and her beast was getting excited and getting drunk or killing something sounded like a good plan', then it seemed very 'fun'. She was getting better at hiding bodies, and getting drunk was getting harder. This could get bad.
Her hair was down and flowing around in random directions, her pants were black with glow-in-the-dark stitching that would have put anyone less plur to shame, and her shirt was black, baggy, long sleeved, and insulted anyone and everyone who read it. Just the usual outfit. Of course, she had completly spaced out and forgot to put shoes on... not that it really mattered. The lycanthrope killed off any other infection or disease, and it upped her healing; stepping on something wouldn't do much other than be mildly annoying.
Her wolf paced inside of its flesh cage, waiting for the right moment to leave. It would pounce when the time came, but now was the time to watch and wait. If anyone looked at her eyes as she wandered around looking for a victom or a beer, they would see that the eyes weren't those of a human.
