I have a suggestion for the fighting system that would oliminate God mode, power play, And battles that seem to last forever.

It simply is that each level is given a certain amount of life points and attack points than there should be ways to earn more of both. Maybe even some sort of stats (this would determin if you get hit or not).

In battles or training or even just some kind of challenge or obsticle a player would have to role a die, located convenently right on the post system(under post action)

If someones defense is less than a number rolled by the offense they will get hit, Than the offense will roll again determining how much damage they do (which would increase with their level)

I hope you find this method useful but to me it seems more efficiant. All though many things would half to be added to the guild like guides on the method and subforums for everyone to put the stats of their characters

Anyways, I really dislike your idea, to be honest. In a role play, each person can make his/her own selected moves. Now, if an attack comes at you, it's up to you to think of a real way of blocking, deflecting, countering, or dodging the attack. You also, if it's your role play, have to be the smarter person and set up a list of ironclad rules that, if broken, the move is automatically ignored and either the attack sticks, or you automatically get to dodge or block. Okay, these aren't really the role playing rules of the world, but this is my view on the entire thing. We don't need a new system, just smart people to moderate the happenings in a role play.
