Here's a shoutout to all newbs!! (no matter what you're new to, be it Gaia, or just parts of gaia, this here's for you!)
Here's how this works. All of us in the guild here will post a line or two to help any newer people out (newbs are free at all times to remain anonymous, although we are sworn within this guild not to make you feel ostracized or different, we want you to be able to navigate Gaia like it was your back yard!
GUILD MEMBERS:
PLEASE post something here!!
It can be as simple as where to go to meet the best people on Gaia, or as complex as how to win a fishing trophy, or succeed in the marketplace!
If you have a lot to say- start a thread!! We need to get this place hopping with advice, so that we can actually invite people who are newer to Gaia (that means that when the 'newb compass' has enough good threads, I'll be scouting for our guild in the 'intro to Gaia' threads). When all those friendly newbs finally get here- we need to help the find their way.
The best way to get started is to post a thread or so about your favorite Gaian activities- and HOW to GET STARTED doing them! Leave nothing unsaid, don't assume that your audience knows the site, they won't!
We can be the primary place for all newer Gaians to start out here and get situated, please help us grow!

one of the best places to get alot of gold is the Jigsaw puzzles
the harder they are the more gold you get
I'm in those most of the time

For fast gold at first, you should go play games. Don't fish or anything, that's for serious people ^^", but pinball, and puzzles are the best ^_^ Word Bump is best too
Next, to meet new people, go out and visit the fan threads, they have groups of people with the same interests. Don't just post "Plse put me on the list!!!!! They roxorz my soxorz!!!!" That just makes people hate you....stay active, be literate, and contribute ^_^
Then you can go to the guilds, and find people there too ^_^
Next, you can get items from the events here, and play the marketplace a little to make more gold. After you get the hang of things you can test out a quest. Look at a few examples first to see what gets a lot of hits ^_^ Be nice to people too. I caught more flys with honey and am half way done with my quest after 4 months xD
Also, ask questions always! If you are not sure, ask. “To ask a question may be a moment’s shame, but not to ask and remain ignorant is a lifelong shame” ^_^

Find a section of the forums that you love (Art Discusion, General D, Extended D) Chatterbox is fine for bumping, but If you're looking for real conversation, haunt a subforum.
