Well, I don't know how long it's been out, but I just picked up a copy of the new Chaos Codex.
I absolutely love what they've done to my thousand sons, but does anyone else have opinions on what they've changed?

Meh i havent been playing chaos for long enough to know lol but i allready have 2068points of it....500 of them being a baneblade ^_^

Chaos are great I'm gonna start a chaos army soon, A Nurgle army, A post heresy Death Gaurd Army, followed by making a post heresy Mortarion, the great primarch of the chaos followers of father Nurgle.

Anuksu Noir Well, I don't know how long it's been out, but I just picked up a copy of the new Chaos Codex. I absolutely love what they've done to my thousand sons, but does anyone else have opinions on what they've changed? Alright, as a whole, the army works well and there are some cool things. However, what I feel the new Chaos Codex lacks is representation of fluff and chaosy flavor. My plague marines used to be much more dynamic than they are now. I could give them veteran skills and special Nurgle weapons such as a plague banner (God I miss that thing.) or a plague sword(very nifty against big 'ole montrous creature and multi-wound models.) I suppose my issue with it is it's just too generic, honestly, after the 3rd edition Chaos codex, this new one seems like crap. It's still good though, but I want my plague banner back.

I s'ppose Tiki and I have been dominating the Chaos scene the longest. I've been playing Chaos, with my Nurgle army. 5000 points by the old Codex, I'll tell ya when I figure it out with the new one. I digress. I've been playing Chaos for six years now. Great stuff.

Yeah, with my lack of upgrades, I've dropped to only 4,006 points. Iused to have more when I could deck out my stuff.

I've heard talk that the new codex is oriented towards a more renegade chapter list. eek Any Opinios question

The khorne berzerkers are deployed in the Land raider, the sorcerer with the jump pack is deployed with one of the units of raptors, the raptors swoop in to mop up what the noise marines and obliterators fail to kill.
The other sorcerer is stuck in with the noise marine squad of 10.
