When you are writing, write it as though you are writing a book in the third person. No asterisk(*) just quotes (") when speaking and italize(i) thoughts. Make sure you sue proper English and capitalizations too
An R.P. is a story in witch you have your own character(s).
In this sory you can only control your own character(s) and to a very limited exstent to other’s characters.
If you pass the limit it is considered “god moding”
EXAMPLE- Jace runs up and cut’s off Jeo’s head…
That is god moding
EXAMPLE- Jace runs and goes for the head….
Reply- Jeo doges just in time and retaliate with a sweep kick.
Reply Jace is knocked over but swings his sword at his torso. Ect…
This is not god moding, you must allow the other person to reply and act on what you are doing.
You may control another’s char to speed something up
EXAMPLE-since Jace had started the race first he made it home first as well. He was bent over panting when Jeo made there.
Also remember it’s a story and not a movie so you must paint a picture with words and describe what you are doing.
EXAMPLE- There he stood, not very tall at all but he had pale skin like porcelain, his eyes a maroon red, his hair was long and a nice mixture of silver mauve and lavender. He wore all black from the hooded cloak down to his steel toe boots. Sharp pointed ears were perked up as the many ninjas surrounded him….
Reader want, crave, and adore detail!
So remember to make it good like a story!
