This is a rp to showcase a situation that helps Breith and Ashleigh bond as a couple. This takes place after the first 2 rp scenarios from the main threads. I'd like to think at last a few days passed between the first two scenarios. And, then at least a week or better passed between 2 an 3. This is just before scenario three. Breith continues to call on Ashleigh almost daily.

Ashleigh was sitting with her flowers. Her garden which she had been nurturing had been growing steadfastly. It grew all around her house. Thick vines of the forest grew out from hedges. They formed almost a natural gate across the front path into her house; but if one didn't go to the tree itself and instead went around to the side, they'd find a pretty garden of flowers on one side. On the other side of the tree was a mini hedge maze. It wasn't extremely high, but it was fun to roam around in. Needless to say, Ashleigh spent just about all her time in her gardens. She would prune, help it grow. Then again, all these things wouldn't be unusual given her being a wood elfill.

Now, she was sitting out in the eastern side of the tree among the flowers. This is of course where she would sing and talk a lot. She had been looking at the tree sometimes. She wished so much she could have some kind of swing... That it would hang down next to the flowers.

Breith peeked into the garden. Spying Ashleigh, he smiled and knocked on the garden gate. "Knock knock, anybody home?" He called, opening the gate and stepping in. He'd come here several times before, and Ashleigh always told him to just come on in.

Ashleigh heard the knocking and smiled without looking up. When her ears twitched at hearing her "gate", if one even called those entwined vines and branches that... Most people called it a gate. They most certainly served that purpose.

Ashleigh stood up and brushed her gown down, swiping away soil and grass off of her. She walked lightly across the grass, barefooted. Her long blue tresses flowing behind her like a train to a wedding dress. When she found Breith, she smiled. "Well, I am very proud of you. You're finally seeing yourself in. You know I always tell you that you're always welcome here. You are free to come and go in my house as often as you like. I love you coming to visit."

Without much more word, she gave him a brisk, friendly hug. The flowery aroma of her hair and clothes moving about him, the way blades of grass brush against one's feet when walking barefoot across a vast field.

Breith grinned, a little abashed, gingerly hugging her back. "Well, I figured it was time I started... I dunno, taking some affirmative action, I guess. What've you been doing in here today?"

Ashleigh smiled with an unrestrainable joy. When he hugged her, she could sense a feeling of earnestness about him. Then again, she noticed that feeling about him almost all the time. Maybe he was just that kind of person. The fact he oozed integrity that way made her feel like she could trust him.

At his question, she waltzed herself in a semi circle. "Welllll, I have been pruning my tulips. Also, I was talking to the daisies and the poppies. But, I was thinking... you know.. winter will be here in a few months. Maybe I should consider trying to erect some kind of... housing over some of these. I don't want all my flowers to die."

Even though deep down, she knew even though they went to sleep for the winter; every spring her flowers returned. She always thought winters were lonely for that reason. It was like the forest lost its voice, and she thought it an eerily sort of quiet.

"I could help with that." Breith smiled tentatively. He was good with his hands, though he'd never done something quite like that. He knew he could, though. "If we made sure it was pretty much completely sealed in, with just enough space so they could still get their air and everything, I think it would work..."

Ashleigh clasped her hands together happily as if she were about to say a prayer. "Thanks!! I would be so grateful for you to help me." She started to giggle. Her feminine happiness over her garden causing her to get a bit silly. She patted her arm with her hand. "I didn't know you were good at handy work. Maybe I'll have to ask you when I have labor-some projects..."

She walked over towards the flowers leading the way. "What I figure is that there is enough room here to make some of them have an indoor shed type thing... Some can return to the earth to provide the necessary nutrients into the earth." As she stared at her garden imagining how wonderful it would all be. She couldn't restrain a small hop up and down. Her long blue curls bouncing with her.

"Oh, if you don't mind to wait, I'll go grab some cakes and tea. We can eat out here on the patio. We might as well while the weather is still permitting to be outdoors."

"That sounds like a plan." Breith smiled more broadly. "Just let me know when you'd like to start. And tea and cakes sounds great..."

Ashleigh reappeared not too long afterwards with a tray. It was wooden with a few small cups that resemebled chinese tea cups and a medium blue and green ceramic tea pot. It had a few plates with cakes and cookies on it. She set it on the patio table and smiled at Breith.

"I think we can start later today. I would rather not waste too much time. Winter will be on us before we know it." She paused as she poured tea into a cup for him. "I'm sorry... would I be taking away from something you already need to do?"

"Yeah, that's very true. Winter does tend to sneak up on you..." He took a sip of the tea. "Mm, this is very good; thank you. And no, I really didn't have anything to do today..."

After they finished their tea, Ashleigh showed him where to put things. She began to feel a chill in the air. She shivered a little. "I think it's coming sooner than we thought. Maybe we can get most of it done today. I'm so glad you could come and help. I'd never have gotten it done on my own." She looked at him humbly with much joy.

"I'm sure we can get it done today," Breith replied with a confident smile. "If we work fast and do a good job, it should stand up and be done in time to avoid the frost."

Breith started getting together the materials they would need. He had to borrow some things from some friends, but he didn't mind (he'd pay them back later), because it would help Ash. "You ready to start?" He asked, dusting his hands off as he stood up.

Ashleigh was quick to get to work. She was surprised as the hours passed how quickly it was ready. She felt rather glad Breith had come to help. She would never have gotten it done in time without him.

"Well, I appreciate the help Breith. It looks almost ready. I just need to move some of these trays inside of it. I wonder if i should put away my patio set... snow isn't always kind to metal or wood..." She then walked by close to him, rubbing his arm with her hand as she passed by. She hoped that he wouldn't have minded her doing that.

"I'd say put it away. Here, I'll help. A lady shouldn't have to carry things..." he added as he picked up the patio set for her and followed Ashleigh inside.

He'd noticed her touch, but he didn't say anything. Actually, he wasn't entirely sure what to make of it himself. I suppose we'll find out sooner or later, he thought to himself with a little smile.
