I thought I'd point out some of the major work being done to the GGN (Gaia Guild Network) and all the more reason to start participating in guilds again.
Aside from the transition in layout to a more current one, these are the main highlights:

Guilds/Clans Moderator Panel ChangesModerator and Member list Panel changes - meant to help guild owners/captains/vice captains better manage their Guilds and Clans. Please note that Edit Settings page will remain within the old template for the time being. We wanted to get these changes out to you sooner rather than waiting to modify that beast.
Primary changes:
Batch accept/decline for join requests - you don't thave to manage each request one by one!
Pending join request notification in header - find out about a join request sooner
Memberlist sorting - by last post, join date, # of posts - now you can see who has been active (Last post date is new data that is being collected from now on, so it will be blank until people start posting!)
New logs landing page - shows the top-5 entries from your 3 logs (depending on permission level)
New UI/navigation for moderator and member panels
New URL structure for admin section
Pagination in join request list
Modified change owner flow: Previously, Vice Captains could overthrow a guild owner by simply changing the owner. This was put in place because Captains sometimes get banned or lose interest and stop coming around. We've put a check in place that will prevent vice captains from committing mutiny unless the owner is banned from Gaia, or he is inactive (defined as not logging on for more than 60 days).
Auto-Accept Join RequestsThis allows owners to auto-accept members without manually ok-ing each request. The new setting is in the Moderator Panel->Edit Settings page.
