Reaper
Link to it on The CW.
Link to it on IMDB.

Director: Kevin Smith
Writers: Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas
Genre: Comedy / Drama more
Plot Outline: A twenty-something slacker works as a bounty hunter for the devil.

It will premiere on The CW on September 25th.

My take on it (so far):
The TV spots I had seen until recently didn't look too spectacular, although they really didn't say much about what the show was or what to expect form it, but they didn't really grab my attention. That is, until I saw the one they aired today where they named Smith as the director. For that, I'll give this series a look where I might not have otherwise cared.

Yeah. I really wasn't interested in it to begin with, but because Smith is directing it, I suppose I'll watch at least one episode for shits and giggles.

So did anybody actually watch it? I remembered about it tonight. I plan on catching it next week though. If anyone's seen it though please do let the rest of us know if it was funny or what your impression of it was.

I've been watching it. Outright its not a flashy, spectacular, ratings grabbing show which might be its downfall. But I am enamored by it for its subtleties, and its amazing humor.

I've been watching as well, and I'm kind of in love with it. It's hilarious. Smith is a producer (I think) and it shows- its like Clerks, if Clerks took place in a hardware store and they occasionally made a jaunt to go fight evil-and if Dante's soul was owned by the devil.
They also manage to be culturally revelant without being like, Best Week Ever. They make fun of stuff, but its not a namedrop every third sentence.

I love that show. Its pretty funny, in a smith-ish way, although you gotta keep in mind that the CW has power to spoil things but so far I love it, then again I havent watched it sence last summer... I MISS IT ;_;
