p r i n c e s s *waves a box of graham crackers* I have plenty of these! *rummages in her fridge, emerges with a bag of Japanese gummies and some dark chocolate* I don't know if the gummies would be good with marshmallows, but dark chocolate s'mores are teh yum... Kradvity Asala-Mai Tell that to my family. I ask for candy and they givde me chocolate. I'm a candy-oholic and they deprive me only to give me so much chocolate that it'll go buggy before I can eat it! gonk No fair! They're two completely different things! scream Candy is candy and chocolate is chocolate. That's an interesting problem, though. o.O Asala-Mai Art, yes. Artist, no. >.< Fine. Jiyu Asala-Mai Jiyu Only artistic thing I can do is write and I don't do it often... Wanna help me with mine? It's so bland. sweatdrop What kind of help do you need? heart My story has no pazaz. It doesn't grab you or keep you. The events are mundain and the characters are flat. >_< I'm working on the characters. The action needs pazaz without losing the everyday with a twist feel.

Jiyu Wee!!! I just had a semi-intelligent argument with a guy in Towns over the use of the 'N' word. He said he can use it cause he's half black...etc... rolleyes My view is that a racial slur is derogatory no matter who uses it. I've never understood why they feel the need to use it... or anyone outside slave years for that matter neutral The sole purpose for the creation of that word was to demean an entire race! Why in the world would anyone, especially of said race use it?!?! gonk I don't want to start a guild argument over it or anything... so feel free to ignore this or pm me about it if you don't want to post it here sweatdrop Umm, I thought that it was the name of people from Nigerogwa. And was used to mean every person of that colour as an insult in terms of them not mattering enough for people to bother figuring out where they were from? And/or like saying they were all alike and they didn't matter as individuals? I have heard that some people use it in a good way to take away from the negative power it was given. b***h is the name of a female dog, but has become a bad word by being used to say that a person has the qualities of a dog. Supposedly, the word itself is not bad unless we give it power over us. It's like gay, which means happy / joyful. We could turn chair into a put down if we wanted to, but if we don't use it as a put down, it's not one. Don't get me wrong, I'm not for using derogitory terms. I'm simply saying that they don't have to necessarily be seen as derogitory. And that insisting that they are gives them power over us.

Jiyu Attention LiveJournal users, especially those who make iconsA friend of mine posted this in her LJ and I felt the need to spread the word. A user has created a bot program that trolls open LJs (including their comment areas) that takes icons directly from their source. She created a community and posts the pictures there... hotlinked and all. Here is the link to a post from a community warning about this. The Warning What worse than that is that she doesn't even care what the icon contains, like pictures of a users children and blames the person she stole the image from for not making their entries "Friends Only" If you comment in a friend's journal and that friend has a public journal, your icon is at risk. I'll keep you posted on steps being taken to stop this person. Yikes! *doesn't fully understand what you said* What can be done to keep stuff safe?

I'm changing the style slightly. And worse of all the pupils are way too small; they make her look crazy. >< And as you can see, I didn't finish part of her face. My stuff always has missing stuff like that.

I'm sure you can, you just have to practise. It took me months to get that pic right. I drew all sorts of lines down the page and stared at anime for ages trying to get it right. Lots of erasing is my thing. Plus I did a crappy first copy so I knew what needed to be done to make it better. I'm really good at seeing what's wrong with a picture. I do it for my younger sister (the true artist) all the time. I'm her first critic and her biggest fan. ^_^

This is the my character's new eye. The pupil in it is still too small, but it's basically the style I want. The character in my manga is named Asala-Mai by the way.
