Arthur sighed lightly and placed a hand on his head, there Isle just told him the exact answer and yet he did before but the thing completely ignored him. "He better listen..." He told Isle and sighed as he laid back down on the hammock...oh sweet hammock thank the gods you are here right now...

" Ok." The wateriod evaporated. The accumlation of fear in the druid caused the wateriod to be summoned, with only that fear in mind. The wateriod used scattered information to form a hypothosis and acted upon what it cotrived to be the best course of action. It has no brain and only existed via emotional enduaracne. Cognitive thought streamed from the unconsious mind of the summoner, who only wanted to know that he was not sending his nephew to his death. He would never be consious of the actual summoning or the events, but would not hold so much anxiety about sending his only family to such a forboding place now because his fears were answered by a trusting voice.

She frowned. "Then you're blind." How could she say that she wasn't scared of being a mother? Piper was scared...she was terrified. "You think I do it so easily? I have to raise him to Malik's liking...I want to protect him from so much more than I do, but I don't...I feel like I'm letting him get hurt and what not because I don't want Malik to think I am coddling him, and I don't want to do what my mother did to me. It's hard Zahara and we're supposed to screw up, learn from our mistakes and do better the next time around. You're so focused on screwing up that you can't see how you're doing it right now. It's only when you're around you think you're screwing up...being away can be just as bad." Piper shook her head. "But I'm so tired Zahara...I don't know what to do around you anymore, what to tell you or talk to you about. I tried to help...but you just don't want anyone's help...what do you expect me to do? This isn't just hard on you..." Looking away from her friend a moment to try and get her emotions back in check. Oh yes would definately be indulging in that paperwork. "which is why if you think I should give up them just tell me...it hurts to keep trying and knowing you care nothing for my attempts." Piper throwing in the towel...that said something now didn't it?
She shook her head as the thing evaporated and relaxed some. That was a little frustrating now wasn't it? She hated when he used logic and it was tossed aside like it meant nothing. Twice down here that had happened to her now. Giving a shake of her head she walked over to the hammock, and grabbed the nearby rum and shot glass, poured herself on and handed one to Galesen, downing her own.

Arthur opened his one eye and looked around, oh thank the gods it gone that damn thing didn't even know what the hell it was talking about and it ignored him twice when he gave the creature the answer it needed! "I swear it feels like my brain has been damaged all over..." He muttered and sighed lightly, squeezing his eye shut before opening it again to see Isle handing him a shot glass; grabbing it the elf downed his drink and then grabbed the bottle, chugging it back for a few seconds before handing it back to the elf. "I really needed that..." He muttered with a soft sigh as he rested into the hammock a little bit more.

A raised eyebrow as he drank from the bottle before handing it back. A look at it and she set it and her shot glass down before slipping herself back into the hammock again, again contending with hammock physics before she settled some. Though she didn't cuddle right back up to Galesen...with her luck her opportunity had been shot because his mood had gone sour...though hm, maybe she could use that and bring up both thier moods. "Sit up."

Arthur felt a little better, the rum had warmed him up a little and he hoped that in reverie he wouldn't have to experience this over again and the worse thing was that the mood that was being set before was ruined by that damn creature, would he even be able to try and get close to Isle again? He was willing to try and the hammock was going to give him some opportunity to do so but now...he just wished they picked a different date to come out here. But when Isle told him to sit up he opened his eye and looked at her with a raised eyebrow, but why the hell not things couldn't get any better; so with a small groan the elf sat up in the hammock, being careful of how it swayed, and looked at the elf with a tilt of his head. "Yes? what is it Isle?"

Hm she had options...but moving too much meant the hammock would act otu in vengence. She'd just do it this way. Reaching out to him she first took off his eyepatch and set it on his knee, and then took off her gloves. Isle then ran her hands through his hair some, using her nails to scratch lightly before brining her hands to his ears and massaging at them lightly, moving her hands from his ears to his neck to his shoulders. Hey she knew how to relax someone. So there she was, sitting in front of him and giving him a little massage of sorts.

Arthur watched Isle lightly, even though the little pain they had to go through she still looked as beautiful as ever to im, maybe it was the rum but he felt just a tiny bit dizzy...or it was maybe the hammock who knows? But he was surprised when she just reached out to him and suddenly took of his eyepatch, why would she do that? She knew it was a personal issue with him so why would she...wait now she was taking off her gloves, huh something's up. So the elf stared on as Isle reached forwards and ran her blue fingers through his hair, at that motion his eyes closed slightly and the scratching made it feel better; but she got him when she went for his ears, they were so sensitive and she got a light groan from him when she began to massage them. His eyes were now fully closed at the feeling, and boy was she making him feel good right now, but even when she moved on down to his neck and shoulders it didn't take away what he felt before, and he felt wonderful right now. "Isle...why are you...doing this...?" He muttered before taking a small breath before relaxing a little, her fingers felt so good.

Oh how cute, he was doing thay laggy talking thing. "A captain can't sail when he's stressed...I'm just trying to relieve some of it. You're no fun when you're all...uppity." Letting her hands work his shoulders and then his biceps before moving them back up to his ears and working down his neck and shoulders once more. "Why? Would you rather I not?" Thus pulling her hands back to herself and tilted her head at him in question, lavender strands falling over her eyes some.

Arthur blinked a few times and opened his eye slightly to look at the elf in front of him, she called him captain again that was nice but she knows how he feels about it and yet it seemed that he didn't mind it at all really. "You got a...point there...Isle..." He managed to say as he felt her fingers move down from his shoulder then to his biceps then she started all over again! Well of course right when she hit his ears he couldn't help himself, he just felt so good at the moment. But when she pulled away he was able to regain his senses and look at Isle with a small blush, the feeling was too good for him and yet he wouldn't of minded more. "No...no you can if you want to...I'm just a little surprised that you are doing this that's all..." He looked at her with a light grin and chuckled lightly. Arthur then reached up and touched her cheek lightly with his fingertips, and slowly they moved across her skin and then pulled back the lavender strands so he could watch those teal eyes, the light from one of the lamps made a nice glow in them. His gaze lowered as his hand went around her face and cupped her chin lightly, his thumb running over her cheek a little bit. He didn't need to say no words, his look, his touch, his movements all described to Isle what he was feeling, and what he maybe thinking about her. Slowly the elf leaned forwards but steadied himself a little on the hammock then after a moment he was able to lean forward and finally kiss those lips again before pulling away just a little, he wanted to see her reaction, to see if she wanted this go on between them.

Zahara didn't quite know what to say. It was hard to listen to her only friend talk about being hurt continously by her actions. She hadn't meant to hurt her, it was just really really hard. "Maybe I am blind. And maybe my thinking is warped. But whatever it is, I can't get past it." Another shake of her head. "If it hurts you this much then just stop. I can't change the way I feel and the words I say will continue to be the same. We've been more or less rehashing this since Zykariel was a baby. I guess we should stop now before things get really out of hand and we end up hating each other over it..."

Malik looked up, and nodded, taking the pages and looking them over, though his gaze moved to Zykariel. he coudl guess the boys thoughts from his reaction to Malikhai's sword.
"I have things made for you Zykariel. but it is up to your father to give permission for them. and Malikhai is not allowed to take the metal blade from down here, nor is he allowed down here without adult supervision."
which ment playing any and all games they used to was still good.
"These look like they will be fine. However..we have another visitor."
Runics where great. not to mention the Ogre standing by the enterance now with that 'do I eat it or let it in' look. which got a gesture and the Ogre went to let the other elf in, with instructions to wait in the lounging area for the master's presence.
"Okay Sevilin, you set this up, and we'll work with this. and don't inform our new allies about it. I don't want them interested in why we're putting up defenses."
A look down at Malikhai.
"go put up your weapon, and you and Zykariel can go play, while I talk to our new guest."
Which got Malik shooing everyone out of the arena and heading to the lounge for this new guest.

"Welll I don't like the idea of being stranding in the Depths waters on a boat with a captain who is liable to commit acts of ill will to his crew due to his mood." Logical as ever, eh Isleandra? Though it seemed she had gone fishing again and caught a fish once more as he drew close to her, moving her hair and kissing her, pulling back some to see what happened next. Well we let the fish snap the line last time, let's reel it to the boat this time. Okay...so then she tilted her head and leaned into him, giving him her own kiss in gesture to see if that fish would pursue the ever moving bait. Of course ever mindful of hammock physics as she played innocent.
"Right." And that was it...wasn't it? No pride in this at all for Piper, merely that sense that she accomplished nothing. Malik had told her once the one of her greatest strengths down here was that she gave up on nothing...well...sometimes the storms were strong enough to fell the most deeply rooted tree. Though Piper didn't get much chance to even expand on that seeing as the next moment she knew she was one the ground and in pain, holding her head...gods be damned horse! Who was indeed pawing at the ground with a snort and looking all so smug that he had just thrown her...that's what she got for dropping her guard. "Perfect..."
He opened his mouth to protest only to close it and toddle off to go put his sword away and then come back only to be told that they were all going upstairs and thus shooed that way. So then he was left with Sevilin and Zykariel as daddy went off to work...he thought he wasn't working any right now. Well that was upsetting. But he sighed and more or less plopped down on the floor where he was to hold to his boots again. It was obvious that Zykariel wanted nothing to do with him right now, why even bother?
He gave a nod to Malik. "Will do...and then I'm taking a few days off." Because he needed them for Zykariel...it was hard being more or less a single parent with no prior parenting skills...Sevilin found himself floundering a lot lately. But upstairs they were shooed and it seemed he was left with the children. Hm...they seemed at odds with each other. "You two aren't going to go play? We're staying for a while...you could without worry abotu games ending early."

The druid merely shrugged and obeyed the request to wait in the Lounge. It was a nice room. It looked welcoming. He guessed. This druid really wasn't much for the great indoors, or outdoors... He looked about again with a weary eye. This place was nicer than most caverns in the dark. One rumor scratched. Malik did not decorate his halls with the hides of the people he killed. It was very clean, very very clean.
