*Mystina kissed Janani on the forehead* I know darling, but as I said she doesn't understand that it's not your choice. She's not in here right now. It's only the Captain and I, and he's not going to hurt you. She might want to hurt you, but, I don't think she would unless provoked.

Janani thinks for a moment.
...was here earlier... Just Cora and me... A man appeared, and it somehow...calmed her... He said... He said to her that she's not normally like that...so angry...so cruel...but...but...
She sniffles.
I faded back... I fell asleep...and I woke up here again...with her being provoked by my mere presence...and then she accused you... You?!

*Mystina nodded* She normally is calm, and reasonable. But like most humans when something they love is threatened they react violently. She's only reacting to the threat.
And yes, she did warn us of what she'd do if we turned out to be on Seraphim's side, we'd be her enemy.
I told her that I'd rather die than be a slave to fear of him, or a slave for him. *She shrugged* It's not the way of my people.
The thought of losing the Brink hurts, and scares Cora. Think about losing the ability to be in Heaven, wouldn't that scare you severely, sweets? *She stroked her hair softly, trying to comfort her some more.* She wants to protect the people she loves.

Her eyes go wide. The reason she couldn't just make a choice was exactly that reason! It wasn't just that the Seraphim knew how to easily defeat any Shard. It was that going against the Seraphim could be going against GOD if the information she's only heard is wrong... That would mean expulsion in the same way that Luciver met with, but far worse for she is a Shard... The demons...would only hunt her! She clings tighter.
Yes! It does...! That's why...I can't just...choose...

*Mystina nods and hugs Janani tightly* I know darling. It's often not as simple as just choosing one path or another... There are many other things to factor in.
I only hope Cora can one day understand that Heaven to you, is like the Brink to her.

*cross finishes his food then takes a sip of the Green Fairy... It was sweet, but it certainly wasn't peary.... he couldn't tell what it was really...... and that made the drinking all the more enjoyyable*

She nods. She's finally able to pull away a bit and face Mystina. This time, her face is mostly red. She probably cried all her tears away before she fell into the sleep she was in upon entering the Brink. She opens her mouth to speak, but no words seem to find their way past her sore throat. Not sore enough to cause hoarsness. Just sore from obvious crying.

Afterall. He'd been wandering around Terra for the past four hundred years! He knew a thing or two more than her. Still, it was nice to be home to train...

She said...she couldn't be my friend, she couldn't stop hating me, until I said that I both didn't want to hurt those who come here...and wouldn't if ordered to by anybody...
She shakes her head. The images of Cora over the past few days ripe in her mind. They over-ride quite a bit.
I want to protect her... I want to protect everyone...

Janani begins to fade. She begins to fade, and she knows it. In a panic, she shakes Mystina, not wanting to let go but knowing she must.
I want to protect! I want...
She fades without another word able to escape. She faces along with her WhiteRose; the Cat Plushie is always with her.
