~///~ Hnn? Well-- my old room is still available~ though the bed is much smaller than the one in our room. We could get another brought in, or something bigger if you wanted.
*If two beds were in the room, they could be pushed together. If a larger bed was brought in to the room, it would still be fine as space was available. Then again, Mas could suggest just sleeping in the small bed together, making it so that the two would be very close to one another all night. Nana would chuckle lightly, being refured to with Mas as vagabonds, though in a way, before returning with Matema she sort of was. Alone in the cold lonely church, not a soul around for months. The last really good meal she had eaten, probably the sandwich Twilight had made for her. Probably little more than bread and water after that; thinking back to those times she really was. It wasn't the prettiest place, but it did its job to keep Nana from the elements, and keep her warm. Nana's head would turn a little to that the side of her head would rest lightly on Mas' nearest arn and shoulder*

"Ah, that's right, there was a time when we slept in separate beds. Do pardon me if I don't care to remember days from that time." The arm on which Nana rested rose a little, tenderly stroking the back of her head. The motion only lasted a few brief moments, when Mastema bent down to put his other arm behind Nana's legs and sweep her off the floor, into his arms. He did not at all move her head from where it rested. "If you'll permit me, darling..." he merely uttered before started to carry Nana back to the elevator, and it only took a few moments to do so. He had started inside the elevator and given it directions when he spoke again. "Hmm~ I think it will not be necessary to add anything else. I'm sure that if we are both lightly dressed your old bed could more than afford the two of us."

~///~ Better to look towards the future hmm?
*Moments after Nana had commented on Mastema's thoughts from times before there marriage, she was swept off of her feet again. Nana didn't have much time to make a remark of any kind, and by the time she made her short shout of surprise, Mastema was already half way to the elevator. Then once in the elevator, Nana would curl up slightly to maker herself take up a little less space, even if there seemed to be ample room*
o///o Ah--!
*Before Mastema and Nana had officially wed, her old room was down on the seventy-seventh level of the tower. At that time the tower was still under going repairs, and was a maze of cables and old debris. The room itself that Nana stayed in was rather spartan, with little in the ways of-- well anyhting. There was a single bed, a small computer console with enclosed chair, a small bathroom with toilet and shower, a window and finally a small chest of drawers. Most of the other rooms in the tower were still likely the same, even the children's first bedroom wasn't much more than that, before they changed things for them. Their current bedrooms too had little more than that, and over time would likely accumulate more personal items and furniture as the children needed them*
<///<; ...'lightly dressed' hmm? I sense an ulterior motive.

If it were not limited by time Mastema could easily have gone all night surprising Nana time after time, whether by speaking to her or by engaging her physically. Mastema would pay no mind to how much room they had in the elevator so long as Nana remained in his arms. Soon enough, he had stepped off with her to the 77th floor. "Ulterior motive? Oh my dear you lay such an accusation against me!" He chuckled and kissed her on the cheek as he walked. As they came up to the old, seldom used door, he gently set her back on her feet. He opened the door, seemingly to let her pass through first, but instead he pulled Nana back against him, one arm around her midrift and the other taking hold of one of her forearms. "But of course after so much time, I suppose it's quite easy for you to tell I only say such things to deceive you into doing me favors most pleasant." He kissed her on the back of the neck.

*It was actually a rather comforting feeling to be cradled in someone's arms, it must have been how the children felt when Nana snuggled them close. Briefly looking inside the room once Mastema had put her down and opened the door, Nana couldn't help but feel nolstagic about being there. The last time she had been in the room at all was probably to find a few things from when she and Mastema had gone on their honeymoon, or perhaps once or twice after the fact. Suddenly being pulled back, held and kissed, Nana would roll her eyes playfully when mention was made of 'favors'*
Favors huh? Most pleasant you say? Hnn hnn hnn~ My, my, what am I going to do with you? Khnn.
*One of Nana's arms would rest over the arm Mastema had around her midrift, the other would pat the side of his face near his jawline lightly. My Mastema was acting cadly today, granted that wasn't so unusual for him. Given his current mood, he must have finished up whatever work he needed to do, with favorable results. Now his attentions could be turned on Nana, and would be until such time, he needed to go off to manage the Citadel again*

Although a fairly conservative woman, Nana did very well at showing when she was content. It was probably true that the children also felt the same contentment whenever one of their parents, especially Nana, embraced them, but Nana didn't quite seem to pass on her ability to display contentness with her expression, which she was doing very much right now. "Quite right, dear," he said before kissing the palm of the hand she patted him with, "in fact I should say I'd call them pleasures more than mere favors." Granted, Mastema didn't seem to be spending as much time aloof as working as he had earlier in their marriage, but there was hardly more the be improved upon now. Most of his previous time had been devoted to making more effective armaments, and he still was, but with the completion of the citadel's newest defenses and the Vanguard models, there was little else to be said. Besides that, the citadel didn't contain infinite resources to continue building more technology. There was a limit to how far Mastema himself could take it. For now, Mastema was content to simply keep his lips pressed to the side of Nana's neck affectionately.

Khnn~
*Nana was more than happy to just stand there, kiss pressed to her neck. The children were asleep, Thanatos was out at a function and said he would return by morning, the renovations continued to go smoothly, Mastema was finished with his work today. A light sigh pressing past Nana's lips, contented she most certainly was*
~///~ So, are we going to loiter in the halls all night dear?
*As the Citadel didn't contain an infinite number of resources, the materials Nana had the bots using may have been recycled or even reclaimed, present in several of the old houses and appartments. If only the hall of doors was still accessable, Mastema would have no trouble getting what he needed. Then again-- What about Phia's world? It had resources didn't it? Vehicles for metal and fuel, people, food, other building materials and land. But Mastema probably wasn't up for an invasion so it didn't really matter, a fleeting thought*

"I'm not sure; what favors would I get if we did?" He chuckled, followed by lightly urging Nana into the room by pressing her back softly. Letting her trot into the room, he would follow behind her, closing the door behind them as he did. Granted, the room wasn't very luxurious nor comfortable compared to their real room, but Mastema would put up with it for as long as Nana would. Although, he'd little reason to be in the place when Nana wasn't present. "I suppose since this is still such your room, I must be at your disposal while I lodge in it." It was more or less handing over the conductor's position to Nana. Invading Phia's homeworld wasn't particularly Mas's idea, since Phia's world did not possess the technology needed for most of his projects.

*Moving off into the room, Nana would spin back to face Mastema a few steps in. Continuing to walk backwards, Nana would eventually run into the bed, plopping down softly on the matress. From there she could see the whole room and Mastema's movements in said room. Being given the lead, now that the two were in her room, Nana would ponder for a minute on what to do. Aside from snuggling up and going to sleep, there was always time for a quick shower, and maybe Nana could inquire how Mastema's day had gone otherwise, what he was working on today. They could also plan an outting somewhere, or a visit with Slayer and Sho, family was important afterall*
So-- what did you end up doing after I left?

Mastema grinned slightly, seeing how 'effectively' Nana could quell any romantic tension there had been a moment ago and affect to seem so innocent now. Really, she was far more coy than anyone would think the woman. "Ah, you mean after the few moments you lingered to find your senses again?" It was a clear tease and he couldn't help but muffle his laughter a little. "Why frequented myself between the few projects I can deem worthy to pursue anymore. So many of my workings today seem auxilary today. None of them are of any real importance anymore." Well, that wasn't entirely true. He still had one project of great significance. In fact, it had been in progress since before his marriage to Nana. "So I simply let my thoughts drift back to the afternoon we had spent together, of course."

....yes, after I lingered.*Nana would look to Mastema playfully, waiting for him to continue. While Mastema spoke of his projects, Nana remembered a project she had asked of Mastema nearly two years earlier. The progress of which she knew not of, maybe now was a good time to inquire. The basics of the original request was to make Zio's screens viewable only to the person using them. For instance if Nana or the children were writing in a personal journal and someone wandered in, they might like a bit of privacy without someone looking over their shoulder. The application could be used for any information public or private. The idea was similar to a security-screen on a computer. You could see the information, but someone next to you could not* Hmm, what about that little side project I mentioned some time back? The one with added Zio security, when using the screens for one on one use?

It had been a long walk from the near by mountain. Viper was approaching the citadel wondering what or who she would find there. As she gets closer she can see that it’s just a giant mirrored bubble.
What the hell!? Maybe I should knock, or at least make a door way.
Viper took out a dagger and sliced her palm open then raises it to the sky; the blood is green with a red tint to it. The blood streams down her arm and trickles around her body when it hits the ground the blood turns into a green energy and forms the shape of a giant python that’s wrapped around her.
SERPENTS SOUL!!!!!!!!
With those words the python opens its mouth and releases an energy blast the size of a gray hound buss. When the dust settles she is 20 yards farther from where she was, her palm is healed and there is 50 foot deep fissure from where she is to the barrier. The barrier is undamaged.
Son of a b***h!!! It better have at least gotten someone’s attention.

"Hmmm, ah of course, you mean the idea to project a screen directly onto a person's eye. I haven't forgotten it or neglected it, if that's what you're asking." Mastema stepped over to the bed, where Nana was sitting, and put one knee up on the matress. He then leaned over, put his hand on the matress and the other around Nana. "As it turns out, it's rather difficult to make a system that could do such a thing with ease. Aside from the problem of making a fast enough system to follow the small movements of the eye and body, there's the problem of having the incoming light directed from the right angle, intensity, and so on." Mastema leaned his head closer to Nana so that his chin was resting on her shoulder and his lips were closing to her neck.
If Mastema was concerned about the person who'd fired on the barrier, he didn't show it. Other than that, she seemed to have moved onto more important things rather quickly. It was a wise choice, considering she'd be swiss cheese if she'd given the defenses or citadel inhabitants time to react. "Although, I've tried to make something else that keeps the same idea. After a bit of work, I believe I now have something which will accomplish the same effect without all of these nasty specifics." Leaning forward more, Mastema places a kiss on Nana's neck, and wraps the one arm more tightly around Nana. He was talking quite fluidly about all of the details, but his actions seemed to be acting as if the conversation was a different one. Rather, it seemed Mas's mind and his body were in two different places at the moment.

Mmhm~ That's the one. Oh good. Mmhm, mmhm... Oh? What would that be dear?
*Mind and body were on two different pages, and it was obvious what Mastema's body was desiring. While responding to Mastema, Nana would move her arms to lightly embrace Mastema in a hug, nuzzling his jawline lightly then closing her eyes. The information was important, but perhaps the physical interaction was wanted just a little more. The kiss at Nana's neck was pleasant, and evoked a light verbal reaction. Nana seemed to be quite contented, the children were in bed, Thanatos should be headed home, Mastema was at her side, and her original Zio security request was still remembered, oh happy days*

"I figured, if it's too difficult to make the person of interest the only one who can see the screen, then I'll make the screen of interest useless to everyone else." Mastema adjusted himself to support Nana leaning on him better. Given the success of the first kiss, he also kissed her a second time on the cheek, close to her mouth. "My idea is to just project more on the screen than is needed. But this extra light will have special properties, specific wavelengths. To anyone in the room, the screen will be a kaleidoscopic projection of light, or perhaps an empty screen, and nothing more." He found comfortable, stable position and brought up the hand he'd been using to prop himself up, stroking Nana's hair with it instead. The other arm remained wrapped around her. "The person, however, will have a special kind of polarized lens. The lens will correspond to a particular wavelength of the light, and filters the masking light out. So, whoever wears the right lens can read the screen because only light from the real screen is transmitted. It's really not so different from decoding." For the most part finished with his explanation, Mastema turned his attention to his caressing Nana.
