Crafty I'm sorry to hear about the financial troubles, but glad to hear your hubby will have some income. Thank goodness for family, no? I know you guys will come out of all this just fine. Take good care of yourself and come play more Scrabble with me again soon? <3

With so many companies going under, it's no surprise
that the others are cutting back wherever they can. I,
myself, am without a job, but at least there's health
insurance.
COBRA and HIPPA(sp?) are pricey, yet effective means
to acquire the assurance of medical care, if something
were to happen. *smiles and knocks on wood*
But there'll be no need.. right, guys? rolleyes
As a complete tangent, I am so pleased with Twilight's
transition from paper to the big screen.

interesting that the gov't waited til just a couple days ago to announce that we've been in a recession since last December.
The unemployment numbers came out today and they're saying that it's bad news. neutral

I have not been able to get a job. Can't get insurance. Can't get government assistance. And have fallen further and further from any semblance of making things better.
To top it off, I have $21,000 of hospital ER bills from the end of November, thanks to kidney stones and a dear death run-in with urine leaking into my body and poisoning me, and no way to pay them. sad
So whenever you think things are bad, remember it can be a whole lot worse.

I think my time here is done in the AGA. I enjoyed everyones company. But there is just one person around that makes me feel unwelcome now. Thus I will be headed out at midnight tonight. Sending my farewell wishes at midnight.
