*Mastema appears in a hidden level of the tower. Zenogais was alredy dismantled partly while sitting in the repair chamber. The machines went fast to work on rebuilding his destroyed components* Dammit..... still not enough. *He grins* But Thanatos is approaching arc of his destiny.... I wonder which way the arc will turn though. Hmm... *He thinks for a moment. He would have to get in contact with a certain someone.....Gatia*

*Indeed a few minutes later, Nana is finished. She picks up the remaining items. A dagger, and a teddy bear are all that's left. Nana stares at the dagger as she picks it up in one hand, the teddy bear in the other*

*She was refering to events that had taken place, not long before meeting Mastema; her past. Nana stares at the items a moment more, before moving over to the piano, and placing the teddy bear in the right corner, above the keys and protective key covering*

*Nana then proceeds to place her ordimental dagger where it belonged, at her right hip. Nana looks around the room for a moment, it seemed to be cleaned up now, not like the day before*

*Mastema thinks for a moment longer before chuckling* It will all fall into place soon enough.... a few more hasty actions from that witch and he'll play right into his part.... *He vanishes then. A few minutes later he reappears back in the bed room. Mastema turns to Nana* And so I return. Nothing happened while I was away?

*Nana's right hand covers her chest, where her heart is. The other flinches when she "eeps". Nana turns to see Mastema had come back, she calms a little, but stutters*

*He chuckles a little* I am sorry. I will try not to startle you so much. It must have slipped my mind that you might not be expecting me to suddenly appear.... the visit didn't go so well as I might have hoped. *He walks over to the main window in the room and pulls the curtain back*

*Nana hurries over. She's behind Mastema, and staring at the large gash in his clothes. Nana didn't see any blood, but that didn't matter. It was obvious that Mastema had been attacked. She begins to doat on him*

Hmm? *He looks over his shoulder at her, then realizes he'd forgotten to repair his coat* Oh.... that's the least of the problems. *His sludge form quickly repairs the slash and he turns to Nana, letting one hand rest on her fore arm* I'm fine... don't worry. It was a feeble attack attempt by Xol...he's pugnacious as he ever was.....

*He wraps his arms around her shoulders* As I said... my body is different.. it can repair itself and other substances. *He nods* Xol is an erratic fighter with no clear goals. I may have suffered a worse injury if Thanatos had not stepped in the line of fire......

*He looks back at her eyes and raises a finger to her lips* Calm down. Thanatos is all right. He's chosen to stay in the care of the dojo for now. He will be fine for sure after a good night's rest. *He lets out a short breath* I will return there again tomorrow to make sure he is all right. If I find that he is in fact hurt again then I'll bring him back here.... I don't intend to let him get injured because of someone's quarrel with me. However... *He looks out the window, in the general direction of the dojo*... I did not intend for him to be injured in the first place, but I can not stop him. He puts everything before himself.... for better or worse....

*Mastema puts on a sincere expression and holds Nana close, so that he looks over her shoulder while gently running the back of his index finger along her right wing* You needn't worry about Thanatos. I've learned soon enough that he always stands up after a fall.... often with a smile. I promise he will be all right..... I will see to that myself.
