"We seem to get a lot of people who come to town, stay for a while, then go back to what they were doing. A lot of my kids are growing up and going to college and whatnot. and, it turned out that kain and crono genthe weren't really my children anyways. really, i took them in for their mother who thought she was dying. then, it turned out she was still alive. Them being the nice boys they are went to try and find her and save her. They do still drop in and visit as our family is still like family to them. My son Toffer is still around, but I have had to ask him to leave town becuase he was sewing discord. He wants to come back, but he did hurt a lot of people. And, i try to explain to him that i'm not the only one he needs to make amends with. Oh, but I think I may have discovered a son that me and foxpro gave up for adoption before we all received the taquito family inheritance after grandfather died. "
((that's kazesin who's relation was supposed to be revealed at the ball. however, with the postponement of the ball, we'll see. we might stage another mini event to do that))

"Yes. You know my daughter mimi and sarace's daughter krystal are planning it. They thought it would be nice since our family is supposed to be so prestigious that we should have a nice formal event. Hopefully it comes before halloween. Wonder if we should do anything this year. I think from now on, when the gaia world hosts their events, we should just have a family tent there. and not worry about it. or, we could have our parties like a week before. "
She wondered if they should look into getting a portrait of them together.

Hmmm I think a family tent is good that way it might be like a mini party within the big party. I mean cause we all want to be apart of the events. Speaking of which The Gaia gods have not thrown a special event in quite sometime. I wonder if they are just going to wait til Halloween to do something.

I think we should host an event.... but I dunno if we should do it at the same days gaia hosts them..... cuz last halloween if I recall correctly.. there weren't many people here in the city...

agreed.... maybe we should have one thread that is our annual events planning committee? we set up different posts that list information put up for the events. we can hold similar contests every year at the annuals. just the prizes change from year to year. and maybe new people will be around to participate.
we could come up with a list of events we want our city to host.

Yeah I don't think there was, part of it I know was because Grace and I had other obligations outside Gaia but hopefully this year can be better. I think as long as we have people who are going to be committed so stuff and really see it through then we can have events that are seprate. But if people are unsure about their commitment then we are just better off getting a section in the bigger events.

"Well. let's see... fall menu for sept-just before thanksgiving. then thanksgiving thru newyears will have one. maybe some pumpkin and squash flavors. and some apple ones too. "
