Phia was left to stand there with the woman who now probally didn't like her after her way of greeting Mastema. She smiled sheepishly while Devon started at the children, mostly Micha.

"Well then...It's been some time since I've seen ye...'ow 'ave ye been fairing? I don't think tha' the Black Company was the place fer ye, ye look much more at 'ome 'ere." She was trying to make small talk but Phia ultimately was not someone who felt comfortable with it. She was more likely to have her nose in a book.

^__^;
Ah-aahh... Y-yes...

*So the stuttering began. Nana was-- surprised by the type of greeting Mastema received, but she didn't know what Phia's and Mastema's past was either, in relation to eachother. Nana would return small talk as the children would either continue to hide, stare, or posture*

H-- how long has it been now? Several months at least.. r-right? I- I've been well... a-and yourself?

Phia was slightly relieved to see that Nana was as uncomfortable as she was. It caused a small smile on Phia's lips, though unintentional.

"I've been well. I would think that its been more than a few months...prehaps a year or so. I 'ad my son between then an' now." Of course this would bring question to any normal person's mind as to how Phia's son had grown to look the age of three but Nana might assume that the same type growth took place as in her own children. "So Mastema has more children then? They look quite adorable from what I can see of them." She smiled at Trilla hiding behind her mother and remembered when Aria was that age and usually would either growl at a stranger or cling to her parent's legs. Phia shifted Devon to the other arm but his stare never broke away from Micha.

^__^
Oh, congratulations. Y-yes, these three here. T-thank you.

*One was always more comfortable in what they considered to be their home setting. Just the same, if Nana was in Phia's home she would be able to speak a little more freely, as Nana was attempting to now. Nana's children did indeed grow quickly, though it seemed that it was leveling off finally and slowing down. Meanwhile the staring contest intensified between Micha and Devon*

Devon: o.o

Phia looked to Nana and smiled slightly.

"Pardon me for saying this but...It just seems so strange to be talking to ye 'ere...Mastema an' Ye..." She paused. "Well I just didn't think ye were 'is type. But It's nice to see people be 'appy together, there's little 'appiness left in this world, nice to see some people 'ave it still." Her smile now was a bit forced, not because she didn't mean her statement, the sadness of loosing her husband bit at Phia's heart a bit. She missed him so much at the moment and would until he came back.

*Nana noted that D wasn't with Phia right now, but he could have been elsewhere. Unaware that D was gone and dead, Nana could potentially really step in it, so to speak. The whole reason she was here, was to get Mastema's aid in killing Truinthil's clone, someone else who had stopped by the Citadel.... or had that been the original Truinthil? It wasn't as if Nana would have been able to tell anyways, she didn't even really get a chance to see him. Anyways, at least Phia being honest about her feelings towards Nana and Mastema. Surprised that the two were together, Phia wasn't likely to be the last to share those feelings*

S-so... these are my children.

*Nana would present the three, from first born to last. As one would expect of children, they would look at Nana when their names were spoken, then stare back at the strangers in their home with both caution and curiosity*

Micha. Eecheb. An' this is my daughter Trilla.

*Though they appeared to be about eight years old, in reality they were almost two and a half years in age. Whether or not this was supposed to be their natural growth rate was unknown to both Mastema and Nana really. All three were born on the same day, varried in height and appearance, one looked more.... demonic than angelic, and each certainly had a different opinion on practically everything, of course only two of them really said anything*

She smiled a bit at the children behind Nana.

"Lovely Names, this is Devon and my oldest Aria is elsewhere, probally galavanting around with her girlfriend doing something dangerous." She said girlfriend like it was no big deal, then again, Phia had spent a great deal of her college years living with a gay man. Not that it matter any, love was love. She looked To Nana. "So wha' all do ye do 'round 'ere?" It was a general question but Phia was honestly curious about what someone could possibly do in a place she thought was entirekly devoted to distruction.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 05, 2007 11:06 pm

.____.,
H-her girlfriend?

*Nana died a little on the inside hearing that. What were girls doing dating other girls!? Well, now things were just going to be ever more awkward... at least for Nana. Things like boy x boy and girl x girl relationships set off an automatic red flag in Nana's mind. It just wasn't natural. If one knew of Nana's origins then they'd also realize it was like marching nudists past killer bees, it wasn't going to end well. When Phia asked a question, Nana semi snapped back into reality*

Ah-ah? W-well... I-- I teach, among other things.

"Teach? Teach yer children I assume. Correct?" She smiled, teaching meant learning and learning meant knowlege and where did one get knowlege? Books! Books were excellent! It didn't occur to Phia up until now, that the Citadel might have an extensive library, one that could possibly rival the one back at the mansion. That thought alone caused Phia's eyes to light up, she did have a book tucked under her arm that held Devon. "Wha' else do ye do?"
PostPosted: Sun Aug 05, 2007 11:23 pm

Y-yes, I do teach them, but others aswell. We have a few others here, that are learning with the children.

*Nana meant Cole and whom ever else came to the lessons she taught at the library and immediate area surrounding it. Phia was right though, the library Mastema had given Nana was probably the size of the mansion. Nana also had plans to gather a few more books yet aswell, and expand the library slightly to accomidate them. Nana seemed a little sheepish upon the next question asked*

Hnn... w-well, a few hobbies and such... Anything to try and keep busy I suppose.

Mugiri humg his head. Of course it was something that required no thought. All of these machines that Mugiri knew nothing about seemed to take no effort, he just never knew that. He headed towards the border, and stuck his hand out, unbelief on his face. He experimented, playing a type of hokey-pokey with the citadel's barrier. First his arm, then his leg, then his head, then his whole body went outside the Citadel. He breathed in deeply, enjoying wind for the first time in a long while. He might talk to Mastema sometime about developing weather for the Citadel. It was just plain stuffy within the dome. Mugiri headed off towards the fallen mountain range, running gladly.

Mugiri has advertised his barrier-breach to the enemy blatantly. The watching, eager eyes processed the data in instant. Both the ground forces and those churning out in the stars would be pleased. The cross-shaped structure looming upon the horizon seemed to twinkle at the cloaked machine, almost as if urging it on.

A slight buzz and crackle, and already a squad stirred back at the HQ. The price of failure was to become as slag, but Command wouldn't simply leave the job unfinished. If by some chance this bot failed to protect the site-testing drones, then Command would have to rely on lesser, wet troops.

---

At the flat expanse, drills probed ground, sensors scanned the area, and even air-samples were taken along with energy readings. The four small, busy probes continued to scour the place for any evidence of what had caused the striking formation, from debris to residue, to biological waste.

Mugiri examined the sight interestedly, far on the south edge. He turned over some rocks, looking around. He mainly was daydreaming, off in his own world and happy to be out of the Citadel. About fifteen minutes after he arrived, he noticed four shiny objects. Similar to the machine he fought all those days ago. He tried to avoid them, skirting the area as far from them as posible.

A chittering drone broke free of the formation, crawling steadily towards Mugiri. The thing was of course unarmed, save for a few probes that might do some damage if the subject was restrained. Still, the thing seemed more or less simply inquisitive as it approached. The chittering would continue, the small probe actively scanning and watching the man.

Mugiri still shied from the creature. He eventually grew tired of it, and tried to intimidate it. He threw small rocks at high speeds, missing it by inches in most throws. He purposefully missed, trying to scare it off. He was scared of it, trying at all costs to keep away from it. He started using his wind power to try and blow it away. He did not use alot of power, as he just tried to push it away.
