"Chaos usually ensues and trouble for any man within that room. Though honestly, you know it's not me you have to worry about with steel around. You spoil me with anything I want, I can get anything of the metal presuation for free, and well we're pretty self sustaining everywhere else. I don't need to shop, I just have to visit a different room at home." Giving him one of those little smile smirks of hers. And she then hissed in a different pitch that her previous one, yes that one sounding more like a snake than a cat. Wasn't the ability to mimick as such a grand thing sometimes. "Better?" Thus splashing at him. Yes she rather enjoyed this frivilous cat verses snake debate. But going quiet a moment, playing with her hair a bit before looking back to him. "An hour, maybe an hour and a half. You can work up from there but I'm not letting you start from three." Speaking of course on thier son's magic lesson duration.
Well damn...that was a well put up argument that the child had given, despite how the notion was very much nonsense and so on and so forth. But he wasn't going to tell the child that that wasn't a reason. Beside he was sure he would get some twisted yet right answer of child logic back. He was still battling child logic some days. It was tricky.
Though there was the irony too. Six Zahara, seven Sevilin, and eight Zykariel. Poor him in the middle of those two as always for some reason or another, even when something as simple as numbers were concerned. Go figue. Made a fleeting moment of perhaps a mix of sadness and reserved resignation pass his features. But back to his son.
"Even if she frightens you, and upsets you, and all those other things you don't like...you still want her to be around and everything?" he really didn't understand children sometimes.

Even though it was a sort of low attack to use, throwing sand in a persons face could be useful when needed and since they were fighting to the point where they were just a slash away from creating injuries might as well make the fight as real as possible right? But Arthur's plan for Isle to be disabled long enough to subdue her failed when she rolled backwards and quickly did a backhand spring to get up, and right after that she activated her magic which to him was bad news since he didn't know what spells she had at her finger tips, but from her call of course it had to do with the weather.
So in no time at all Arthur found himself covered in a thick fog, a good move in order to keep them both on their toes; but trying to keep on his own toes literally would be a problem since Isle caused it to rain and now the sand was like sinking mud now, it would be hard for him to move, keep quiet, attack and back off without getting stuck. "Well when in a battle you gotta use your surroundings right? But as I can tell you have changed the field, a better move than what I have done." His voice also had the hint of challenge now, the fight was good in the beginning but now it had gotten better, besides if Isle had changed the arena to this then it meant she had trained in these conditions before which would provided a problem for Arthur. "Oh gods this will be fun..." He muttered as he tried to move, which resulted in him trying to pull his legs out of the mud, but of course he kept his defenses up, he didn't want to try and move and suddenly Isle attacked while he had one leg out of the ground.

Zykariel looked up from his playing with name combinations and blinked at his father. "She's family, Daddy. Don't you always say that you never give up on family?" He broke his quill a moment later and frowned down at it then tossed it aside and slipped off his chair to get another one. Coming back he plopped down again and started to write.
"Besides, she's my mommy, even if she doesn't act like it. Malikhai's got one and I want one too. You only get one in your whole lifetime Daddy. Even elves can't have another. Not a real Mommy anyway, she could be pretend I s'pose, but it's not the same." He fiddled with the quill and then met his father's eyes once again. "Sides Daddy, I'm not always real nice to you but you still love me, right?"

Oh yes, all Isleandra needed was open air and she could call up the worst storm anyone had seen. An enjoyable talent passed through her family though one that garned careful attention. So then, she would show off a little just because she could. A clap of thunder and a little streak of lightining that illuminated her figure as it struck her held up dagger blade that was then tossed at Galesen, the blade still dancing with the energy. "Come now, it can't all be that bad to be calling gods."
She let out a giggle, rather enjoying this little engagement of battle they were in, mock or not. Was nice to know you had the reflexes to either avoid an injury or stop your hand before it caused one but not break the feel or flow of battle. But she splayed her feet in the sand, fixing her weight so she wouldn't sink or let it hinder her. Then a quick dash through weather conditions at him, short light elven steps keeping the sand from being too much of a bother. Was key to not stay in place too long as she had been trained that way. Though she merely came to be standing in front of Galesen, practically nose to nose, holding that look of challenge still in her eyes and lightly tapped the flat of her blade against his side. "Are you dead? Or did you survive this attack?"
"I've heard it somewhere before..." Didn't know if it had passed his lips of his own volition or something he had just heard and repeated when it seemed like a good idea to. Sounded something like a surface elf would say. Family could mean nothing more than genes to drow. And his attention had drifted in his own thought distraction as the child went about telling him exactly what he wanted. It wasn't fair either? No one won this situation.
Zahara didn't get the disconnection she proclaimed she wanted, Zykariel didn't get a mother the way he wanted and Sevilin wasn't able to make his son's world all right and perfect like he wanted. Though as his son met his eyes, he managed a trademark lopsided grin and ruffled his hair again. "Right, I still love you, and I'm always going to. We all have bad days after all." Giving a little sigh as he looked his son over. "So then, you want her to stay here yes? You don't want me to make her leave?" He had to be absolutely sure of what the child wanted.

"Oh I do have to worry about you. becuase you get a crazy idea, Isle backs you up for humor value, and Zahara just goes along for the ride not wanting to argue the point."
though her splash got a splash back.
"Better. and I keep telling you, three hours is a short lesson. most of that is going to be spent lecturing and explaining how tos. it's not like it's three hours of intense magic trickery and attempts."

"It's not like I'm going to go out an oh...buy a whole market street or something just because I can." Rolling her eyes slightly though turning her head and closing them as he splashed her back so she wouldn't get splashed in the eyes. "And three hours for a three year old is nothing short of a fruitless endeavour. He adores you and have you ever gotten him to sit still and listen to everything for those three hours? I think not. Besides, he has to be able to then not only pay attention to that but to everything else he has to learn to, unless you're going to put him on a split schedule in his learning."

Arthur watched his feet every few seconds, he couldn't keep his eye off the area around him in fear that Isle would sneak up somewhere and get him; she really knew her way in this weather that's for sure because she would have never caused this to happen if she didn't get any good training in it. But his ears twitched to the sound of thunder and he looked up just to see her figure lit up by the lightning created from her control over the weather, but her show off wasn't the worse of things since the lightning that was used to illuminate her figure was now dancing along the blade of her dagger. "Oh crud." He muttered before he saw her tossed the dagger at him. Luckily for Arthur he was trained by Zahara long enough to time when to dodge a dagger, got a lot of cuts from that lesson but he learned it, basically if you can time right when the person is about to throw it and what part of your body they will target then you can basically dodge it with no problem.
Well since Isle's dagger had some lightning attached to it it would be a lot more easier for him to follow it quick enough to find out where it's going. So right when she let go of her dagger his reflexes quickly took over and he was fast enough just to barely dodge the flying weapon which was aimed for his arm; there was just one problem, since he was standing in mud he couldn't balance himself so he had to use his sword to help him but now it was stuck in the mud. Cursing lightly to himself Arthur did his best to pull himself out of that awkward position and once he was able to stand straight he found Isle standing nose to nose with him, and the light tap against his side snapped him back to reality. "As you can see I'm still kicking Isle, you did a pretty good job in stopping my movements that I can give you." Well she did but there was still the problem of trying to get his feet unstuck, he grunted a little as he tried to pull out his right leg then chuckled nervously. "A really good job."

"Yup, she's just having a bad lifetime I guess. But Mr. Malik said she'll get over it and I think she will too. Sometimes she hugs me and stuff and as long as she saves some of her love, I could have some." Though his father's question got some serious thought and he took a moment before answering. When he did, he nodded. "Yeah, I guess I do. I mean didn't you want your mother around when you were my age, Daddy?"

"But if I was looking to kill you, then you are telling me that you would be dead from this blow." She gave a chuckle and shook her head, flicking wet double colored hair from her face. And then a more light hearted giggle as she noticed that he was rather...well stuck and in a situation now wasn't he? Thus she closed her eyes and seemed to concentrate a moment and gradually the rain let up and the fog dispersed and disappeared. "You seem to be stuck in the wed sand." Yes pointing out the obvious.
He nodded. Hm...the child would take even the tiniest scrap of affection from that woman wouldn't he? And she thought by staying away she was having a positive affect on the boy. Of course no one else could tell her otherwise. Though a blink and he was left a bit dumbfounded by the child's question then.
Oh he didn't like this subject...though he knew to clam up would only make it turn bad on him. So lets analyze. He supposed he wanted his mother around...after all when she was around his sisters turned thier energy to impressing her. Yet there was the other hand on when she was around well her liked to put him on the market for whomever could pay good. Or made him train endlessly with Khaiver in the more deadly arts of life. Yeah tough call...let's simplify. "Well...my mother was never really around anyway. My sisters raised me. I suppose you could say that my mother...was never ready."

"He'll learn though. better to start out at three hours, than to start lower and increase it. make it seem like he's being punished for not getting it right over time. But how about then, that we comprimise at two hours for a start time?"
On hand down in the water, moving his hand and using a bit to ripple the water almost like a hottub action for her.

It was Cahan, the ice dragon, who was to be the first to emerge from the cave where the four dragon lords had been slumbering. It seemed that the dragons hadn't anticipated one key factor when they left the safety of the human corpse. The immense amount of energy needed to pull there bodies from limpo into this world. While it had forced the others to slumber, it had taken a much greater toll on the ice dragon. Momentarily trapping him in a half human half human form, having no energy to transform.
Cahan stayed hiding amongst the shadows of the cave, closing his eyes, and grimaced greatly. Though he was a natural telepath, using the ability without a being at full stenght was painful.
"Sevellin....need.....talk....be.....outside....five"
Extending a pair of large feathery wings, painted all shades of blue, he made his way towards the castle.

Zyakriel regarded his father for a long moment and then he finally spoke. "I don't have any sisters." He let that one digest for a moment and then lightly patted his father's arm. "I'm sorry she wasn't ever ready. It's not fun to want something and not be able to have it. I know how you feel." Then he frowned. "But what about your daddy?"
“Aww, you’re gonna cry aren’t you? Why? All I want you to do is touch it. It won’t hurt you...too much...” A shake of his head. “You know Alysinn loves to see you cry. She counts each and every teardrop, and then tells me just what I can do to you and for how long.” A hand reached out and cupped her cheek. “You could save yourself a lot of heartache. Just touch it. Go on.”
Jerking away from his touch, she met his eyes defiantly. “No!”
“Fine! Have it your way. I’ll just make you then.”
“No!” She began to struggle, to fight but it didn’t matter. Her hand was snatched and guided down. Even clawing at his wrists didn’t faze him, he was used to far worse from her sister. “Nooo!”

Arthur sighed and shook his head lightly, a light smile on his face. "And here I thought you were actually worried that I might of gotten hurt. But yes I would be dead if you were actually attacking me." He told her as she flicked her wet multi-colored hair from her face as he heard that cute giggle, she liked the situation he was in didn't she? So he watched quietly as Isle closed her eyes and in a heart beat the rain let up and the fog finally lifted allowing him to see everywhere around him. "Well thanks for pointing that out, I didn't notice it until now." Of course he was being sarcastic and Isle would easily pick it up but right now he wanted to be free of the wet sand. "Give me a moment here..." He said and wiped the mud off his blade before putting it away, then he grabbed his right leg lightly and started to pull on it as he tried to lift his leg out of the went sand. It took sometime but slowly his leg started to move and once it got to the top he gave a hard tug and it came out with a wet 'plop' noise. The problem was he pulled a little too hard so right when his leg came out of the wet sand he was off balance and looked like he was going to fall, but of course since Isle was really close to him he grabbed onto her and pulled her close so he could steady himself; once he finally got his balance set he pulled away from the elf in front of him and gave a small grin. "Sorry Isle...seemed to have lost my balance there..." He chucked lightly as he ran his free hand through his wet hair, his blue eye now able to see her a lot more clearly.

"It's only a punishment if you make it out to be a punishment." After all, if you gave them more cookies it wasn't a punishment even if you were making them eat a dozen for taking one and they got sick. But she didn't feel the drive to argue too much. Then a look down at the water at the feel of the water taking on a current of sorts. Piper sighed and looked back up to him. "Fine, two hours for magic things, and then two hours for everything else as well. That's sat four hours a day and that's all he needs right now." Crossing her arms lighly. Hey he was a toddler she was still allowed to fuss over him all she wanted. "I just don't want to overload him." She worried.
Wait...was his son comforting him on such an issue? Now that was just messed up wasn't it? But pity...that was how it was. So the boy only got a smile and a pat on the back. "That's okay, things work out." But then it seemed that they weren't done. However, Sevilin never felt anything when he spoke of his father...well he did hate him for his talents that were passed to his son, but he didn't have an aversion to the subject. "Well son, I never knew my father. We didn't see each other or anything. We weren't like how you and me are."
Though his attention was grabbed by a voice in his head. A blink, that was new. But he knew that voice. "Come on Zykariel, lets go for a walk." Picking the boy up from his lap and thusly heading out, though throwing up a mental note for the dragon to catch, even if Sevilin himself wasn't a telepath he knew to projetc thoughts. "Look for a red circle, you'll find me there." A place he had made use of to meet people when he was at home...seeing as he didn't want anyone to know where his own little keep was. "Hold on Zy." Thus a quick translocation to said place, and looking to the boy once they were there. "Anything else?" Might as well continue with this line if the boy wanted.
A little noise as she was pulled closer, not that she was that far away anyway, and then used basically as an object of support to get his balance once more. That only got a giggle out of her but she let him use her as said tool until his got his balance back. "Someone is indeed having trouble." Though she stepped two steps away from him and look ma, no sign of sinking on her part. Though when she stood it was in a particular way. "Good show though...you fight well for your age and from I understand your upbringing."

Zykariel stared at him for a very long time and then the moment he was picked up, locked his arms around his father's neck and hugged him tightly. "I'm sorry Daddy." What would his life be like without Daddy? He couldn't even begin to imagine. Even Malikhai needed his.
But hey, ramble! That usually meant he could pick up neat stuff and add it to his collection. Or not, since he apparently wasn't getting put down and then they moved into the meeting circle. He knew it and knew what it was used for just like he knew that pretty soon someone would appear, seemingly from nowhere like they had and want to talk. "Do you want her to stay away, Daddy?"
