:::Cora quickly returned the embrace, tears falling freely down her own face as well... the shock, the gravity of what was happening right then, and the consequences had yet to sink in. Then she watches the body disappear the way living people do, back to her place on earth, in time:::

*Luke returns the embrace. Slowly, his crying becomes quieter. Though he's not longer sobbing, it's more than sorrow now. It's grief, it's anger, it's rage. His face twists as he rakes out...*

*He looks down to where he laid down Hajime ... to see only an empty floor.*
*His eyes widen in alarm.* Where..?!

*Luke stares at the empty spot on the floor where her body had been. He stared at it for far longer than he should have. He repeats Cora's words in his mind, where she belongs.*
*Luke closes his eyes as he remembers the Seraphim's voice in his mind. Hers is the first body. *
*Shaking his head, Luke whispers.* No one belongs here.

:::Cora found herself holding on tighter. She kept placing kisses over his ear between breathes, as though he were going to leave her at any moment, and it was the last chance she had to show him. As though what he saw had made him hate where he was so much that he would leave forever, and all she wanted was for him to stay there in her arms:::
Luke... :::sobs crept in between the words, the breathes, the kisses, and the grasps:::

*Luke shirks away, pulling away as Cora plants desperate kisses on his ears and face. His face has a look of alarm.*
*When his eyes meet hers, his face falls. He stares at Cora, unable to explain. He's not crying any more, but his face holds complete exhaustion. He puts up his hand. He tries to say something, but nothing comes out.*
