maenad nuri Interesting thing I have learned today: the word/name nuri according to the Dom Research Center, is very related to a 10th century group of Dom named Nawar (with no relation to the group that bears than name now). It's not the same area as where my persona comes from, but it's nice to know that a name I got off of a "pagan magical name" list is like the gift that keeps on giving. As for the name Nuri, I've heard so many meanings for it dealing with fire and divinity, it's just awesome.

I limited my Gaia-interaction some months ago and let this guild fall by the way-side. However, now I have a job, a car, and my life is much smoother than it has been so I'm diving back in.

This is chat thread, and I feel like updating my life: I'm blessed to be with friends who have become family, and with a man who loves me and I love. I am surrounded by people I can heal with, and by the Lwa who kick my a** when it needs it and grant me the highest of blessings when I've earned it.
I left a lot of broken-ness behind in Rochester, and I'm glad that I didn't become broken down with them. I'm excited for the future. I pray that those who i care for or care for me will have such blessings laid upon them.

the other half's thia Dina is in town from greece. i love it when family visits from overseas. going to take the girls to meet her tomorrow.
also, the new athenos comercials are love, because thats how yiayias act. i havent met one yet who doesnt. i had to pick up the other half from the melted pile of laughter tears he became after he first saw them, lol.

I cleaned today too. Bedroom and bathroom totally needed it. WASHED EVERYTHING. Even the mattress pad.
Yesterday I had a dance student showcase. I didn't suck! I didn't have T-Rex holding a cheeseburger arms!

I'm cleaning out my inventory of old Monthly Collectible letters and I figured that if there were a few people who wanted one, I'd be willing to trade them for much, much, lower than the marketplace price. Of course, this is only open to member of this guild who are reasonably active enough that I'd know who they are.
I'd limit it to about the first 3-5 people who ask.

Thanks to facebook, my older sister, whom i havent seen since i was a small child, found me. after chatting, we discovered that in addition to our common name and close birthdays, we're both pagan, and we both practice attachment parenting, amongst other personality similarities. It's so neat reconnecting. i know it seems wierd to outsiders that i have a 59 year old brother, and my sister whom has the same first name as me is older than my mom, but i love my family. i'm the oldest of 3 from my mom, but 3rd youngest of 9 from my late father. i've found all of my siblings now because of facebook. amazing piece of technology, it is.

I am reading the sweep series as my escapist reading right now. It's utter crap and reads like fanfic. It's utter crack to me, and I can't stop reading. Blood witches! Maybe this is where it is coming from these days!

I've been watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic lately. It's like pure joy and happiness in cartoon form and I can't stop!
I also got a friend of mine hooked on it. At first he laughed at me for being so into it on account of it's MY LITTLE PONY, then he's like '******** it, this is awesome' and I got to laugh at him. xd
