he got up from the table and walked up to her. "hey. come here." he took her hand and lifted he off the chair. he then put his arms around her and kissed her.

Her eyes widened from him suddenly kissing her, but she soon closed them and wrapped her arms around his neck and returned the kiss.

She looked back into his and had a faint blush on her face. She rubbed the back of his head and smiled. "And you're still handsome."

"I'm glad I don't have to worry about that." Mari put her hand up and held onto his. She squeezed it gently and enjoyed having him hold her.

She shivered and just giggled at his words. "You're so sweet." She played with his hair and pulled at it a bit.
James had finished stacking the shelves and took his phone out of his pocket. He then called her number and waited for her to pick up.

she answered her phone and smiled knowing it was him. "hello?"

He started speaking to her and was at the front of the store near the door so his parents wouldn't be eavesdropping on him. "Hey. I'm done helping at the store. Did you want me to meet you somewhere?"

He raised his eyebrow and let out a confused laugh. "Sniff me out? Are you part dog or something?" He didn't know that she had a unique sense of smell and found her words odd.

she laughed a bit. "let's just say it's pretty hard to hide from me. i'll be there soon. see ya." after he said goodbye she went downstairs to say bye to her parents. she left the house and flew to the city.

He put his phone in his pocket and told his parents that he was going out. He went outside and sat on a bench that was on the sidewalk and outside of the store.

when she flew into the city she sniffed for his scent. she picked up on it and followed it. she spotted him and landed nearby where no one was around. she walked up to him and waved. "hey hey."
