then a look over to Zahara.
"And you, you better keep your day open. there are some issues that need to get sorted the hell out and by Innoruuk you are going to get them sorted even if I have to drug you all to do it."
Then getting himself up, and taking up the used plates to hand off to a servant in exchange for some workpapers.
"And no, not coveting away, these are just some minor orders to sign off on. not a lot of work to do today."

And the marbles had become an analogy unto themselves about love and his mother. Wasn't it interesting the way young free minds worked themselves out? "Oh, I see. So she needs more marbles..." Or someone did. Point was there weren't enough to go around. But he merely watched teh boy and ferret passing the marble back and forth as Nym decided he wanted to play some more. It must be hard...knowing what affection was and starving for it from someone. "Maybe she's just lost the rest of hers too..."
It was funny really it was. Before it had been her trying to take on Zahara's issues and Malik staying out, now the roles seemed reversed. Though it was understandable...Malik trying to keep his house in a rather harmonized state. "No coveting? I'm shocked...though I guess an easy day would do you good." Hey he probably didn't feel like moving too much anyway. "You relax and I do all the work, one of those odd days indeed." Setting thier son on the floor from her lap, handing him his brush to put away on his next chance to do so.

She giggled, "Not Daddy Kieran, silly, my Daddy. Daddy." Her tilted and she peered at the drow for a moment. "I think Malik's mad at you."
"So I gathered." She raised an eyebrow at Malik. "Drug me? Don't you remember what happened last time you dabbled in things you shouldn't? But you never were one to learn from your mistakes, were you Malik?" She tapped her fingers on the table mostly ignoring him. She had no idea what he was blathering on about and frankly didn't really care. "As much as I'd love to indulge in this...session you have planned, I have my own schedule to keep, thank you anyway."
He nodded. "Yup, that's exactly the problem." He crawled over and plopped in his father's lap then pushed the marble back to Nym once again. "You know Nym, we could have lots more fun if I had a few more marbles. But I bet they're all at home, huh?"
Suddenly he thought of something and he leaned back and looked up. "Don't you have to work a lot more today, Daddy?"

"Okay, let me reiterate. if you don't keep your day open, I will come get you from whatever you are doing, by force, no matter where or how embarassing it is, and drag your black a** back here. I am deadly serious, and honestly if I have to I'll keep one of you in the damn basement for the rest of your lives."
Yes, this issue needed to get fixed. Zahara upsetting Zykariel upset Sevilin which interfered in his ability to work with potentially hindered the defenses of his home, which potentially put his family in harms way. and that was not something he was going to allow to happen.

Piper sighed and rolled her eyes. This was a tense thing now wasn't it? Why did things seem so much more stressful when Zahara was around? Oh right...that disregard she occassionally had. Piper had grown used to it she supposed. "Can't we play nice drow?" Though she knew it was going to come off more rhetorical and probably never be answered anyway. Another sigh and she shook her head, looking to Lharika and Malikhai. "Go get your shoes on." Getting up after they had and merely walking from the two drow who were no doubt about to have a fight. Besides, she need to get dressed anyway and take the kids outside to let them get started on this draithix thing as well and send more papers off for Arthur.
Well...that explained why the child was so clingy lately...he was countering Zahara's inattention to him by making sure he had all of Sevilin's attention and she didn't get any of it. He supposed Zahara brought that on herself, she should be happy...she was getting what she wanted. But he merely watched the boy and ferret playing with the red marble. "Yes, I do have a lot more of work to do today, I've barely started...but it can wait, you come first."

She eyed Malik closely for a moment and shook her head. He wasn't getting it. Not at all. "I see you fail to understand simple language, Malik. You and I have nothing to discuss. I do not answer to you, nor do I fall under your command. So if you'll excuse me, I have important things to attend to that do not include anything to do with you." She stood and headed for the doorway, intending to go to the stables.
"You don't have to do that Daddy, really. If you have work to do, you can do it. I'm just gonna play with Nym. " 'Sides, Mother's not here so I don't have to worry about her stealing all your marbles or making you mad." He turned back to Nym and pushed the marble hard, shoving it past the ferret. "Go get it Nym! Go!"

He was just all so excited now wasn't he? Indeed he was...he got to build things and everything. It was going to be a fun time indeed. Boots on, he went about slipping into his vest for pocket room and then went about helping Lark bag up draithix eggs, though the one he chose was sitting in a basket next to his bed, all nice and warm with blankets.
Piper watched as Zahara passed her as she was making her way back to the dinning room, walking over to Malik and leaning resting her hands on his shoulder, massaging lightly as she waited for the kids to finish getting ready and come down. "You should just leave it alone A'mael...I know what you're thinking, remember? You're just going to have the same fight I've had with her before about it and it won't matter to her at all. She'll give you an excuse and be adamant about it and won't conisder that there may actually be hope for her."
Sevilin smiled at the boy, setting him off his lap and to the floor, ruffling the boy's hair. "You do that. I'll be right up there if you need me." And thus heading back up the stands to his little spot and again constructing his little work area and starting for the third time that day.
Nym of course would take up any play opportunity, dashing off after the marble and repeating it several times with the boy, though his nearsighted self did smack the wall or the boy several times. Point was it was fun.

Though he didn't go after Zahara just yet.

"Mmhm. And who's to say that your little talking with her, or them rather, is going to do anything? She's going to fight you harder the more you push." Hey Piper had been through it. "Besides...I don't think Sevilin will put up with it too much more...his attitude has been fairly foul lately." Giving a shrug herself and she rubbed at his own shoulders still. "Don't worry so much about it...we can take care of ourselves. We have before."

"Oh yes, so brave." Rolling her eyes slightly. "Don't worry I'll be fine." Taking a look around the place and taking it all in. Pretty nice arena. Though she also noticed that Sevilin and his son and apparently the family pet there as well. "Popular place, this arena?" Locking her fingers together and stretching her arms above her head in almost feline like motion. Oh yes starting to feel much better.

After about a few minutes of being there in the arena Arthur noticed that Sevilin and his boy were in there as well, he didn't mind much the place was pretty big so they could share it. "Yeah it is, though I come to train here on a daily basis...that's Malik for you always wants me to train and train and train, it is like he's got nothing else better to do for me but at least I'm getting better each day." And hopefully he would be able to finally kick Malik's butt one of these days, it would be a glorious moment for him. Though he looked over at Isle and smiled lightly. "Feeling a lot better now huh? That's good to see."

"Yes starting to feel much better." Giving a few more stretches and whe not. "Are my eyes doing that weird glowly thing?" Though listening to him as he explained things. "But you make training sound absolutely horrible. I love to train...very fun pastime really." Giving him a smile and then tucking a few strands of hair behind her ear, careful of the chain that connected her earrings.

Arthur smiled lightly and nodded, well that's a good thing to hear since it wasn't nice to see Isle lie around like a lizard all day especially since it is only her second day here in the Underdark. Though when she asked him to look at her eyes he didn't refuse so he quietly looked into those teal orbs for a second before shaking his head. "No they aren't so I guess you are okay." Though he had to shake his head again at her next comment. "Well I don't mean to I'm just saying that is the way it is whenever I see him, he just tells me to come down here so I do without too much complaint, I don't mind since I'm getting better at fighting and hopefully I can take a shot at him again soon." Yup that was one thing he wanted to do was to fight Malik, though he really had to be carefully of that Harm Touch technique of his. So he began to walk more into the center of the arena waving at Isle to follow him "Come on strech those legs of yours." He said with a small chuckle.

"That's true enough. But Sevilin's power helps keep us well protected. and if he can't work becuase his son and Zahara are having issues that distract him, then it needs to be rectified, and quickly."
Though he did enjoy her shoulder rubbing, leaning his head back to look at her.

Zykariel had great fun shoving that marble along the floor and giggled alternately when Nym would run into the wall. "Daddy! There's something wrong with Nym's eyes..."
Zahara was out at the stables, rubbing the horses down, giving out her normal doses of affection and treating each to a nice brushing. She moved the brush methodically along each horses' flank, all the while giving them words of praise. "That's a good girl, Trissarem. i hear that you and Faete have taken a liking to each other. Frankly, I'm shocked your mother hasn't raised cain yet."
