Role play is completely different everywhere you go.It is up to the guild to set the parameters for what level of play is allowed.
That said,it's completely up to 9 how good the guild role plays. If it's based on activity, yay,we're active.Big deal. Not much to be proud of,now, when we get one for RP-ing I'll be proud.
I'm drifting from my point. The point is noone on Gaia has the right to trashtalk or comment on the abilities of a role-player unless there are rules or guidlines set up.If the level accepted is horrible, and the guild is horrible, then the guild is still meeting it's requirments and being a good guild for that reason. So they can shut their mouths and kindly leave you alone,or just write up a report on harassment and send it off.

Honestly, if they're trashtalking a guild because of the limits of the members RP'ing abilities then they're not fit to be moderators. I say we get the ones in question stripped of their moderating abilites because it doesn't seem like whoever is making people mods is going on skills.
And please, half the mods I've seen couldn't type a roleplay out to save their lives. They can barely type out the rules and regulations without spell check or some other sort of grammatical help. So they can go to BZZTing hell as Zeno so eloquently puts it.
Furthermore, I don't want to be in a guild of elitists pricks. I could have easily joined a number of guilds containing the people I just mentioned, but there's no fun in that. Most of the time, the people that are too literate are the biggest assholes in Gaia. I like that the Back Company has room to grow...that's why I joined, and I could really care less what a bunch of elitist, power tripping, hacks for mods think.

Hear hear! I say we burn'em at the stake but before that, we cut out their entrails and eat'em! And then they watch, horrified! scream

Honestly? I do not fully know. When there is a possibility that people are on I place 3 .'s in repediative order of one another. The reason? People may be logged on, but do not wish to post in the guild because they see it as empty. The 3 .'s show someone, namely me, is on and I don't feel like I'm talking to a wall.

Oddity is simply telling everyone around you that you are an individual and that you do not need to follow the main stream of trends or popularity to enjoy yourself.
