He gave a glance at the half dead looking elf slumped at the table but merely let himself get led to his seat, setting down his bandadna with it's clip and his brush as well. A happy smile at the food was laid down as well as plates and untensils and he took to piling his plate with some of everything and grabbing a glass of jucie. Taking to eating in that little boy 'where does it all go' fashion.
Isle rotated her neck so that her head was propped up using her chin as she looked to Lark as she came over to her. "I feel sick...well not sick really...just...bleck." Side glancing her tea cup. "And my tea got cold..." That was irritating, but she gave a sigh, blowing out a breath that stirred unbrushed lavendar strands as she laid her cheek to the table again. "And I can barely move it seems...ugh..."
And he picked up his son as they got to the fortress, and indeed headed for the library. After all, they had had thier breakfast so there was no reason to stop by the dinning room to mooch some. "Yup, we're going to go to the library. Do you want me to get you some stuff to study your things with?" Why not humor the boy? Give him a magnifying glass and some other harmless examination tools. Setting the boy down when they got there and also pulling Nym from his tunic who was half awake by now and plopped him on a table before taking Zykariel's cloak off of him.

Arthur sighed lightly and shifted a little where he laid, it seemed that no matter what he said Zahara would just keep on pointing out that Zykariel will always be Sevilin's son and never take responsibility for him. So he just drop the subject and pulled away from the elf, he really wasn't in the mood to start anything up between them and now she was going to start coming at him for wanting to know what was up with her hips, what was wrong with him wanting to know about it? If he had to put up with it he should know why. "The reason I ask because it would help me understand the whole reason to why I can't even move near it, besides you have every right to ask me about my eye and anything you else that you may wonder about Zahara it's the way people are, they wonder about something so they ask about it, but since you don't want to talk about it then fine I wont speak of it again." Again another topic drop hopefully, he didn't feel like getting into an argument with her at the moment after all it has been what two weeks since they last met? Though before she helped him get more 'relax' there was something she said that was bugging him then he remembered I was about the last time they spent together. "Listen Zahara I gotta tell you I'm not angry at you or anything for what you did at the picnic, well I maybe was surprised and shocked but when Sevilin explained everything to me...well it shed some light on the subject though the only reason I am angry at you was because you never told me; if you did share that tidbit of information when we started sleeping together then what happened at the picnic could of been avoided." There was a light pause as he turned his head to the elf and he looked at her a second before going on. "That got me thinking to why you have never acted like that around me before and of course I asked Sevilin when he was at my house. He told me of course it was because you were sleeping with him, another bit of information you forgot to share." He again paused for a second to look at her with a soft look in his eye. "Why did you keep these things from me Zahara? I mean stuff like this may have gotten me mad if you told me early on but hearing your explanation I would of gotten over it...That's why I have been avoiding you somewhat, because of your instincts and that you have never told me any of this." Great well that was a load off his chest though how would she react? He just dragged something way out into the open and this was probably a sore spot to talk about with her.

Lark lightly rubbed at Isle's back and shook her head. "I'm sorry Isle. Is it because you wanna go home? If you do, I'll understand. Honest, I will." She paused for a moment and then fiddled with her pearls. "I mean I like having you down here with me but not if you're gonna be sick..."
Zykariel nodded happily, taking a seat at one of the tables. His gaze turned and he saw Nym and grinned. Now he could put his plan into action and he wouldn't have to worry about Nym's hidey holes anymore. But he couldn't do it until Daddy was distracted. He'd want to know where Nym was going and Zykariel didn't want to lie to him.
He stood back up and began pulling things out of his pockets, lining them up along the surface of the table. A few plants, plenty of rocks, a couple of interesting looking bugs, that were either dead or barely moving, a scale, a piece of snakeskin he'd found, and a piece of burnt twine. That one intriguied him the most because it looked like it had been magicfied.
She felt him pull away and frowned for a moment before she got defensive again. She shook her head, "I don't care your reasons. In case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm not like most people. I have my reasons and when I feel you need to be in on them, I will let you. As of now, you have no reason to know, just stay away from them." Grateful that was past and gone and she wouldn't have to worry about it anymore she had begun to reach out and pull him closer when he began his questioning again. Her brows knit and she glared at him. "What is this? The inquisition?" She sighed and pulled the sheets up to cover herself then turned to face him, quite confused, shaking her head with a frown. "Why would I tell you and why would you be upset? You have no reason to be upset. And if I had mentioned my instincts to you in the beginning, which I still no reason why I should have, the incident at the picnic would have happened because you made it happen."

"The only reason why I am brining this up is because I want it to be off of me and gone so it wont bother me anymore that's why." He hated it when things bugged him, like when he thought she was sleeping with that drow they met when she wanted to go get that nightmare off of him, stuff like that has a way of eating at him for awhile. Though he had to look at Zahara with his own raised eyebrow when she popped the question of why he would be upset. "I would be upset because you're sleeping with him while you are with me, unless this is a drow thing of course that I never heard about." He sighed again and pinched the brow of his nose, he didn't want to have a meltdown over this because it would be childish. Though he kept the eyebrow raised at the lat bit of her sentence and sighed lightly before speaking. "Of course if I knew about your instincts ahead of time I would of made sure that what happened at the picnic would never had happened in the first place because would I really want to be submitted to have sex over and over again until I'm badly bruised? Of course not, but now I'm glad that I got this out it'll put my mind at ease." Though her answers were the kind he didn't want it at least showed that she wasn't going to get upset at him for brining it up.

Malikhai swallowed down the bite he had in his mouth. "Isle is acting like granma does when she comes to visit. Though she's not as bad. Maybe you're like granma?" Of course he didn't understand that the behavior was from the transition and essentially a shock of sorts to the body systems of the extreme enviroment change. "She chews a leaf when she feels bad. Aunt Lark did too." Yes he recalled that.
She raised her head and looked at the child down the table from then and then turned her look on Lark and reached a hand out, patting Lharika's hair. "I'm not homesick, this is a nice adventure...I suppose it's the lack of sun or something...my body just doesn't know how to act.
Sevilin grabbed a serf and gave orders to get his son some things to help amuse him as Sevilin set up his own little area and sat down at the table. Oh this was going to take a while. "If you need anything, you ask okay?" Of course he meant within reason but he wasn't going to brush his son off just to work...nope.

"That's true Isle! Piper gave it to me and it made my tummy happy again. Maybe that will help? I dont' know where to get it from but Piper should." She glanced around, half expecting her sister to appear since she was being talked about but there was no sight of the elf. "Maybe we should wake her up?"
" 'Kay." He was duly brought a mini magnifying glass, a prodder, some basins to set his bugs in so the half alive ones couldn't escape and a notebook and pencil to 'record his findings' whatever that meant. He peered at the stuff through the magnifying glass but that was only exciting for a little bit. The prodder was fun, especially to poke at the bugs. Hmm, he wondered how Nym would react to that. He slipped off his chair and picked up the glass and the prodder and poked Nym lightly peering at his fur under the glass.
She shook her head, "I'm sorry you don't want it to bother you but that doesn't change my mind in what I will and will not answer. If it bothers you, you're just going to have to get over it. I don't compromise my privacy without choice for anybody." Leaning on her knees she was still confused. "Okay but you still haven't said why you would be upset. We're not in a relationship or anything like that, so you would have no reason to be upset." Her defenses were prickled once again and she turned to him and glared at him, "Thank you for reminding me that I bruised you and hurt you, Arthur. I really needed that shoved back in my face and for your information, yes it would have happened because you wouldn't have known they were around at that time now would have you? And when you dont' know, you touch and don't worry about it, now don't you? And you would have had the same thing happen. Why do you think I always stayed away from you when they were around? Because you don't ask, you just touch." She took a deep breath and shook her head. Well this wasn't turning out quite like she planned. "I thought you could handle it. I thought you could at least handle me, but I see I was wrong." She shook her head and flopped back down on the pillows.

Now Arthur felt like an idiot, he just made her feel bad and ruin the moment he was in, she was on defense mode now and while she was like that it would be hard for him to try and explain things now because she'll pick at him like always but that's the way she is. "Fine if that's the way you'll go about it then alright then that's how it is." If she wanted to go that way about it then it was alright with him, everyone was entitled to their own privacy. "Well even though we aren't in a relationship I just thought that it was only you and me that's it, I never thought that you and Sevilin were together like that so it upset me a little but it's something I'm willing to accept." He really was willing to accept the fact she was sleeping with Sevilin after all they were not in a relationship so it didn't matter who she was with. But her little attack on him hit a little hard and he paused for a moment to think, well with the way she was speaking she was right, he never bothered to ask her when she was away and everytime they were around he just wanted to have some sort of contact with her. Sighing lightly he looked at the body that laid next to him in bed and he shuffled a little so his body was turned towards her. "Listen Zahara I'm sorry for bringing that up, it was stupid of me of course you know how I am...and your right I never bother to ask because I do touch and it's all I do I never bother to think of what's going on with you, I guess I was lost in what we were doing everytime we were around each other." Sighing lightly he closed his eye before he opened it to look at her again. "Zahara I can handle you I just looked at things as too personal and never though about everything else around me, I'm just an idiot." Slowly he reached out and touched her chin then slowly turned her face towards him. "Zahara I can handle you trust me I can...what do I have to do to show you that?"

"Mommy and daddy are awake." Yes he knew that, intimate bond attachments and what not. Though he knew that when they were awake and hadn't come down yet, and he didn't need anything and wasn't in distress then he should just leave them alone. They were doing important parent things. "Maybe they're in the kitchen?" After all, that's where you put thigns you ate, right?
Isle gave a chuckle to them both, but it was rather drab and strained. They were so cute, trying to help and what not. It was adorable really. "Aren't you two sweet? We'll make a note to ourselves to ask about that, right? Though you two being around is making me feel a bit better..." Elves were personable creatures after all. Though she did lay her cheek back against the table. "Don't worry, you're too young for that."
He looked over at his son from time to time, making sure the boy wasn't causign a mess but mostly attended to his books, flipping pages and going over other lists of what he had going on, on and around Malik's property.
Nym was in the middle of grooming himself when he was poked and he gave an odd little noise about it. Why was he being prodded at? Another prod had him pawing at the little tool before he dropped to all fours and took to looking at Zykariel through the magnifying glass, twitching his nose.

Lark nodded, slightly mollified and settled into her own chair then went to eating her own food. "Okay, we'll just wait for them to come down and then ask. Then you can feel better and stay down here still, right Isle?"
She jerked away from him, not really wanting his touch at this moment in time. "You thought we were in a relationship, didn't you? That's the only explanation for why you would be upset." She shook her head and scooted over on the bed. "That's why you didn't talk to me at all for the past two weeks. Because you were mad at me for trying to spare you, because you were mad at for me for just doing what I do." It suddenly hit her that she really shouldn't be here. "You can't handle me Arthur, I'm sorry to break that to you but you can't. You can't handle that I don't tell you everything, you can't handle that I take my pleasure whereever I choose to and you certainly can't handle my instincts." Slipping out of the bed, she picked up her clothes and dressed rather quickly. "I should have known better than to get involved with you. Next thing you'll be shoving something in my face about cheating or whatever it is those idiotic humans believe in." A shake of her head. "Here's a tidbit of information for you, Arthur. Elves are promisicuous. Even surface elves like Isle, are promiscuous and there's nothing wrong with that!" She yanked on her boots and then stood up and walked to the door. "Have a good day Arthur." Yanking open the door, she walked out, then slammed it, and leaned against the back of it. She wasn't goign to cry but she did feel a sense of loss. After all, Arthur had been a source of entertainment for a while. Bypassing the kitchen, she headed for the library, intending to do some reading.
Zykariel giggled quietly at Nym and then petted at him lightly. He'd been through enough, hadn't he? He put down the little prodder he'd been given and petted at Nym happily until he turned around and saw his mother in the doorway. That wasn't going to work for him at all. A quick glance at Daddy and he scootched off his chair and made a beeline for him, slipping under his father's arm, attempting to climb up onto his lap. "What'cha doing Daddy?"

"Right then I can stay down here..." Because obviously Lark didn't want to go and it'd be a shame to leave anyway. After all, this place seemed to offer up some excitment and she was indeed going to take that offer that was given to her.
Sevilin slightly frowned at the stray direction his little stick of charcoal took on the page as his son slipped under his arm and took to trying to climb him. Just great. But he set the piece down and lifted his son from the floor, placing him in his lap. At least that meant the boy wouldn't squirm. "I have to make up some new rune things so we can all stay safe. Right now, I'm just trying to take ones and combine them together to get a new one that does all the things I want it to."

Arthur shook his head. "No I didn't Zahara I just wished you told me about this because it was are fine getting all of it from Sevilin!" Elves are questionable creatures so what's wrong with wanting to know something? "I'm not mad at you for sparing me from what you do Zahara! I'm mad at you for keeping it from me instead of telling me! It would of helped out you know!" Though he was taken back by when she said he couldn't handle her, anything that she did or was apart of her then went on to say he might of accused her of cheating. "Are you nuts!? I would never accuse you of cheating Zahara! I am actually willing to accept that you still sleep with Sevilin! And of course I can't handle your instincts you just complete take over when you force me into it and you saw what happens afterwards!" Gods the only thing he couldn't handle was her instincts she physically tired him out when they first did it and Sevilin was better...trained to do something like it, Arthur was not a drow after all. "Of course I know that Zahara but here is a fact for you, I'm not like other elves! I act differently because that's how I was raised what do you expect of me!?" But instead of staying to actually talk she just gave him a good day and left without another word, leaving Arthur there in bed with a sad look on his face. "Gods damn it all." He whispered and punched the bed, hard in frustration, he just lost the only good thing he had going for him while he lived here at Twilight, the only real good thing. Placing his head in his hands he felt his left eye throb and that's when he noticed that he didn't have his eye patch, Isle did. Sighing lightly and feeling like total crap he got out of bed, got cleaned, and got dressed, his day was now ruined but that didn't meant he had to stop eating so he left his room and headed to the kitchen, hoping to grab some breakfast.

He studied the marks on the paper and tilted his head then picked up another piece of charcoal. "Can I help?"
She was furious, irritated with herself for her own stupidity and irritated with him for pushing and for being mad at her over something that she was doing to protect him. She had thought that was a step in the right direction but apparently not. Well, she just wouldn't look out for him anymore if he was going to be like that. Yanking a good two or three books off the shelf, she ended knocking a few that weren't put back correctly down off the shelf as well and quickly covered her head to avoid the avalanche of books that was soon to follow.

Malikhai turned his attention from his plate a moment to Arthur. Well wan't that a new sight? He usually didn't have breakfast. And in due child like curiosity...questions. "Shouldn't you be downstairs?" Because that's where Arthur belonged...or at least he had been lead ot believe to what with the amount of time the elf spent there. Daddy didn't like it when things were out of place.
"Erh...it's a bit too complicated for you just yet Zykariel. There's are high leve." And the boy wasn't even a beginner. Though his attention drifted a moment as Zahara went about making noise and then tried to hurt herself. A sigh and a quick gesture of runes to suspend the books as they were falling. And his attention back to his son. Hm..."You can...look at the numbers on this map here, and then find that number in this list and tell me what it says. Wanna try that?" Hey it helped with general and map reading.

Arthur sighed lightly as he entered the room, he was pissed off at Zahara for taking what he said way to far and mostly he was angry at himself; but when he entered the room he saw Malikhai, Lark and Isle at a table and of course the little one just had to ask him a question. "downstairs?" He asked then it clicked, the little guy has seen him train and probably thought that is where he was all the time. "Well I don't need to be downstairs unless your father asks me to be Malikhai so I'll be anywhere else until he needs me to be down there..." Though his voice trailed off when he looked at Isle a little more, she seemed upset about something so he wandered over and paused a minute before he leaned against the table and asked. "Isle are you alright?"

"Hi Arthur." Lark piped up between bites of egg. "Isle's not feeling good."
He frowned at the noise coming from behind him and even more when his father turned and looked. Why did she have to always call attention to herself when she came into the room? But then his father's attention went back to him and he gaze her a sadistic little grin then turned his attention to the map. "Okay." He picked up the map and the piece of charcoal and then started looking at the list. " One is Honorsfield." Consulting the map. "Two is Twilight." Pointing it out on the map again. "What's the point of this Daddy? You know what all these places are wihtout this."
She winced and waited for the books to fall on her head then glanced up and almost smacked her nose against one of them that had been suspended just above her head. Well...that was nice. She turned and met Sevilin's gaze, nodding in thanks before she began to grab the suspended books and put them back on the shelves where they belonged. She missed the look Zykariel shot her and instead walked over and began to love on Nym.
