*pauses a moment, considering how to explain the situation* 'Tis some form of magic that brings ye here, though certainly na' the dark sort. This place draws in people from different places and times . . . 'twill keep ye here for a while, and then return ye back te when and where ye came from, as though ye'd ne'er left.

Me ship is called the Ravenwolf and me ship is me business. *he pushes the shotglass away and takes a swallow from the bottle* Ainsford eh? I think I passed through there once... when I was younger. there was a cozy lil' Inn there.. but I don't recollect much about it... hmm maybe I'll have me a drink there some day. hmm *his gaze grows distan* 1568.... almost... two-hundren years past.. Very interesting... very interesting indeed *takes a drink*

*watches him down the alcohol a bit warily* 'Tis good te know the inn's still standing, then.
Strangely enough, I've become quite used te the idea of encountering people from all manner of times and places. I daresay you shall as well, if ye continue te appear here.

Aye and aye.. I served under a great man once and he would oft tell me of great men in the past... like Francis Drake... from your ..er.. century. a fine man.... excellent seaman. course the situation of woman in my time probably isn't much different... but I know a score of them who would just as soon prove you wrong... and not in a gentle way a'tall... *he takes another drink, leaning back in his chair*

*seems to be getting a bit less tense around him* From what I've gathered, tis a great deal different further in the future. I dinna know that 'tis any better or worse, overall . . . though some things I've heard of sound quite amazing.

Well, for instance . . . I've heard of times further on where everyone is schooled, regardless of their class. They can choose how they want te make a living for themselves, whom te marry, how and where te live . . . all manner of choices, without the limits I'm accustomed te. I think it must be a wonderful way te live.
