Sammael listened carefully, his own heart dropping, Sebastian had only confirmed what he'd feared. He sighed.
" Sebastian, how much do you love him?" Sam had a hand over his shirt, where he could feel it. the pendant containing that soul." I know that Demons are not supposed to feel love....but we do, would you be willing to do anything for that love?"

"I love him more then anything else right now save for my Bochan. Now that I actually have strong feelings for Claude I'd be willing to do anything for that love."

Sam nodded, a smile coming back to his face. "Then....one of the first things to do is to talk to Claude, Even thought he's not the same as before, He should know what kind of situation he is in right now. I highly doubt that he'd go willingly back to Satan to get his head lopped off."
Sammeal gestured to teh half finished breakfast. "Let's get our human's fed then corner Claude somewhere..." He reatched out and put a comforting hand on Sebastian's shoulder. "...I am with you, we'll get throught this."

"I don't know if I'm allowed to tell him about his execution. I don't want to be punished anymore by Satan more then I've already been punished. You tell him, that way it's not coming from me. Will that work?" Sebastian then helped finish the rest of the meal.

"It very round about, But yes, I'd be willing to tell him." Sammael said as he helped placed the food on the servering cart.
Claude stood silently nearby as Ciel and Isabella sipped their tea alone. Ms Spencer had caught a cold the day before and would be resting in bed for a few days.
Isabella was a little too happy to hear this news, after all it ment that she had the whole day free to do what she wanted.

"Thank you Sammael." He then pushed the serving cart into the dining hall and after telling Ciel the menu for that morning he served it to them both to go with their morning tea. Ciel was also glad that Ms. Spencer was ill because he wouldn't have to hear her over his violin playing. He had gotten much better thanks to her, but her voice was like nails on a chalkboard. "What do we have planned for this day Sebastian?"
Sebastian stood in front of him and bowed. "Normally it would be against my best judgement to skip out on lessons, but since that's all that's planned for today you may have a break. You and Isabella just relax and enjoy each other's company." Now Ciel knew something was wrong. Sebastian would normally be down his neck about skipping studies. He placed a hand on his forehead.
"Are you feeling okay Sebastian?"
"I'm feeling fine...."

Claude glanced over curiously. 'I'm feeling fine?" He was aware of how important the young master's lessons where, for Sebastian to just....He glanced away. Sebastian was the head butler, he had no right to question him. Only follow his orders. after all...
They had agreed that they would share Ciel's soul together. While the young master and lady where eating their breakfast, he considered how long it would take for Ciel to die. now that he no longer wanted his revenge, it would be a very long wait. Claude wondered how long it would be before his hunger got the best of him, Oh well, if I have to wait long, I'll just consume another human soul, it may not taste as good, but it should tide me over until the boy dies.....I wounder, how the girl's soul taste like?
Isabella was a little confused, but then again Sebastian was going to become like Sammael wasn't he? Wasn't Claude already getting very close to being as human as the cat demon was?
She turned to Claude. "Haven't you been allowing him to get enough sleep?"
Claude's eyes widen for a moment, the implications of her question was not difficult to figure out.
'What a very rare bold girl.' He thought, fighting the urge to smirk in response. She would be tasty....

Sebastian had stood up and blushed a bit at her boldness. Then again she was no longer the innocent mortal girl she once was since all those past events. "Yes I've been getting enough sleep. A young girl should not be talking of such things until after marriage. I just figured Ciel worked so hard that he's earned a break while us butlers take care of the chores."
Ciel for now was going to act like nothing was wrong. Whatever was going on between the demons needed to be worked out between themselves. He smirked at Isabella's boldness. "Sure didn't sound like it Sebastian. I could hear you from my bedroom. That didn't sound like sleep to me."
"Bochan...."
"Just teasing Sebastian. Well since my meal is done I'm off to go and read a book in my study. Lady Isabella you may follow me if you'd like." With that he was up and out of the room.
Sebastian then glanced over at Claude and saw that look on his face. He used to look at Ciel that way. "Claude...Got something on your mind?"

Isabella giggled at the teasing. She followed Ciel out of the room. holding his hand she said quietly. "I'm sorry, I suppose that I'm just a little too eager to grow up..."
Once they had gone, Claude paused in his activity of setting the used dishes back on the cart to be taken for washing. "Just curious, on how Miss Isabella's soul would taste like. Pity that I will never have a chance to sample it with Sammael as her guardian." He said, answering just like it was the weather Sebastian had asked him about instead.

Sebastian instantly felt himself glaring at him. "She has me protecting her as well to stop demons like us from taking her soul. She makes Ciel happy, and I'm not letting anything stand in the way of his happiness. Not even you Claude. Remember that if you even think about harming either one of them again." With that he put the rest of the dishes onto the cart before pushing it into the kitchen instead of him in a rather angry manner.
"It's okay. It didn't bother me in the slightest." They were soon in the study and he closed the door behind them. "Have you noticed anything...strange about Sebastian and Claude lately?"

Claude scowled, He knew that Sebastian was protective of Ciel, all demons where possessive of their chosen pray, it was natural, but to extend that to a girl who had nothing to do with them and their contract?
Something was up with Sebastian, and he followed him intending on finding out what it was exactly, he wasn't about lose the most sought after soul over a disagreement.
Isabella put her finger to her lips. "Now that I think about it, yes....there is something off with them both. My teasing Claude, he would have reacted by blushing instead of surprise. And Sebastian.....has he ever given you a day off from his lessons like this before?"

Sebastian started to wash the dishes and knew that Claude was in the room with him. All of this s**t was going on because the Spider Demon had to go and fall in love with him like an idiot. He could possibly also lose his rank over this, so all those souls he brought to Satan, and all those Angels he had killed would all be for nothing, and go down the drain. He should hate him for ******** up his life like this but...he couldn't hate him. Not now that he knew what love left like.
"What? You want to know what's up?" He had to tell him. It was killing him not to. Might be interesting to see what Claude was willing to do to save his own hide, so he turned around to tell him. "I'll tell you. You and I used to be enemies. After Ciel thought it would be funny to trade butlers for a whole month to get back at me for something, you came here, while Alois stayed with Hannah and the Triplets. Everyday close to it you'd lust after me, and at some point you fell in love with me, but I couldn't love you back. I wasn't able to have a human heart."
"I thought I did love you back because of how you made me feel in bed. The sex had a lot more passion behind it, and you were possessive over me, and I really liked that. You were becoming more and more human and it frightened me, so I went to Satan about it...and he punished us both. He gave me a human heart, and took away yours so the roles between us would be reversed, and he's going to kill you in three days. I'm most likely going to lose you, and my rank as a General, all because you picked Belial, the Demon General of Hell as your damn lover!"

"What are you talking about Michealis? I don't ever remember falling in love with you like a common bar maid." He was becoming angry. "Why should I be punished for a crime that I didn't commit?"
"But you did fall in love Claude."
Claude turned around to see the cat demon in the doorway, Sammael had a grave expression on his face.
"Think back, Lucifer might had altered your memory too if you can't remember it."
Claude frowned and looked away, he remembered seducing Sebastian but after that....was a blur. he looked up "So I don't remember anymore. that should put things to right."
"No it won't." Sammael walked around to stand by Sebastian's side. "Lucifer is still going to kill you."
The spider demon's eyes widened, it was the cold hard truth. Lucifer never did anything half way. Fear filled his golden eyes.

"Just because you don't remember doesn't mean it never happened. And stop calling me by my last name. That's not even my real name. It's the name Bochan gave to me. Just call me Sebastian or I might go nuts on you. Is plan is to kill you and make me suffer by watching my true love die, and then have to live the rest of my life without him. After this is all done I'll be back at Square 1 again in the demon military, but most importantly...you'd be dead. You need to think of something Claude, because I'm not allowed to protect you."

Claude covered his mouth with his hand, leaning against the kitchen counter feeling unsteady and very sick. He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to concentrate on remembering what Satan had taken away from him.
"Yes......There is a hole.....in my chest....an emptiness..."
He head swam with the effort, he was using all his demonic power to fight past that wall. But he couldn't bare it for too long, he slumped against the counter, coughing up blood.
"S...Sammael.....How did I come to have a heart? How did it happen? Tell me!!"
"It happened over a long period of time. it took me years to earn my heart. it took yours....a little more then a month."
Claude wiped his mouth, "I don't have a month. " He said, standing. He was still confused. "....But I have no wish to die....." The spider demon took a stepp towards Sebastian, putting a white gloved hand gently on the side of his face. "Sebastian.....how does it feel? This feeling of love that I'm missing?"
