*They went through the tunnel mostly uneventfully, although Jarus, the monk at the back, had seemed a bit suspicious, as none of the people in the group usually were worried about caves or... anything, before. ((Remember him, he's not exactly normal.)) Anyway, after a time, the cave opened into a rather large room with a skylight. It was big indeed. At the far end of the room, the warrior and lady they were searching for were sitting, slumped over, tied up and knocked out. In between them was... Something. It was humanoid in it's appearance, but... something was wrong... It was a necromancer. Class 4. There were two other ways to enter the room, and each one was slowly filling with bodies... Undead, each one summoned by the necromancer. Next to the necromancer was another body, their 'Doll'... It was another half dragon.* "About time you got here, Vlad." *The necromancer said. His voice was deep, and powerful sounding. He was obviously not a man to be messed with.* "You've stopped my allies enough. Now you have to face me, and I doubt you'll fare well in that. I assure you, this battle will be swift, and I guarantee you, you have no chance. Now come at me, and do what you can, weaklings!" *Obviously they had missed a long buildup, but the point was obvious. Fight this battle to the end. There were at least a thousand of the undead advancing, some of them quite powerful... And one quite a bit faster than expected. Jarus went flying through the skylight. One of the undead had hit him with an uppercut strong enough to hit him to the next country.* "I think it's best we start fighitng!" *And the battle was on, six warriors against countless undead. The battle was definitely on.*

"Oh dear Granas." Ryudo hissed, Once again, nothing new to him. well, other than the megalomaniac villain. The villains he usually faced were either mindless monsters, cunning, or,like Centennial, insane., This guy seemed to be quite full of himself, thankyouverymuch. ((almost like a villain from a saturday morning cartoon)) He was also used to huge legions of monsters, and usually fought six at a time. the only thing he wasn't used to was his usual party not being there. And not having Melfice lingering in the back of his head. He didn't get time to linger on this long, and started combat.
Samshel decided to make use of his shapeshifting, of course, nothing that actually ATE these guys... rotting meat wasn't so good. That ruled out most animals. He had to think of something creative... FAST. Sachiel gripped his staff, and used the blunt trauma on some of the legion.

*Seeing Sahiel's use of the cleric staff, Vlad had to say something.* "Use white magic, it'll hurt these things! They're undead and controlled by darkness, what more could you ask for?" *And then he charged in, slashing away at the countless enemy undead in what started to seem like a futile attempt. Eclipse was using every facet of his half-dragon power to rip, claw, slash, throw, and otherwise destroy the undead, but he realized that his body had lower stamina than he usually had... He wouldn't last nearly as long. Teldra was dispatching soldier after soldier with her bow, with an unmatched speed thanks to her amazon body's abilities. Whenever they came to close, she would just slash them with her bow, which was specially designed so that it could also be used as a close range weapon. The problem was, they were wearing out faster than they usually would... The bodies they had were not theirs, and, while still being good at large, extended battles, were obviously not trained for this.*

Ryudo was cursing and swearing. He HAD fire magic at his disposal, but if he used it, they'd all be dead. the fumes would most likely kill them in a closed-off cave.
Sachiel, who never used white magic other than the occasional healing spells he remembered from his time with the elves, blinked. Well duh! And then he started at that. Ryudo looked at him and wished Elena were here, her white apacolypse would make short work of these guys. Wait. Elena. "Hey, Samshel, how far does your shapeshifting go?" Samshel (who was slashing at undead with the claws he gave himself) yelled at him without looking at him. "What?"

((Cave's not closed off. Remember? The skylight thing? There's a big hole in the ceiling Jarus went flying through?)) *The battle raged on. Eclipse was getting tired. The body he had was not a long-winded one, it was a body that usually got the job done fast. And this battle was not going fast. Teldra had been hit a few times, and she was wearing out. Vlad was the only one in the area that was still going strong. After all, at this point, the battle had been going on for at least ten minutes in entirely hand-to-hand combat.*

((Oh yeaahhh.. and wait, Jarus went flying through it? O_o))
Ryudo looked up at the skylight, he was getting a little beat up himself, maybe he should let the corpses burn. but with the volume of enemies, the fumes and smell they'd give off, the chances of this biting back and the knocked-out warriors... the cons outweighed the pros and he went against that. Sachiel and samshel were tired of small fry, and were trying to beat against the tide of undead to get to the head honcho, the Necromancer.

((Yes, Jarus the monk got hit by an undead's super uppercut and went flying.)) *It didn't seem like there was much of a chance to get to the necromancer. Every time one undead was defeated or moved, another more powerful one took its place. Even Vlad was feeling the wear now. The battle had so far lasted twenty minutes, all of hand to hand combat. Eclipse was still tearing through undead, and Vlad was slashing them to bits with his sword, and Teldra was likewise wiping out whatever she could, but they were indeed wearing down.*

Samshel was growing impatient. He decided to put his powers to good use and gave himself wings, in attempt to fly over and get to the necromancer, wondering if that would work.
Ryudo was REALLY missing Elena right now, hell, Roan would be good too! He was getting beat up even more, through...
Sachiel was doing pretty well with his magic, looked like he made a good choice. But, of course, this couldn't go on forever...

*The necromancer noticed the attempt to fly over the crowds, and summoned something unexpected. Flying undead. Weird as all heck, too. Obviously, this guy was skilled. The enemy numbers were dwindling, but all the same, each seperate unit was getting stronger, and everyone else was getting weaker. Vlad made a rush at the necromancer, only to be stopped by the necromancer's doll. He dueled with it for a good while, eventually decapitating it and removing all its limbs. Now was about the fifty minute mark. Not many could hold out in a conflict such as this for much longer.*

Samshel was PISSED now. He was tearing and ripping at the zombies like some sort of macabre ballet.
Ryudo was tiring... VEry much so. This really reminded him of his days that weere all focused on being a geohound. But this was a situation he didn't like being stuck in.
Sachiel's endurance was dwindling, his magic was effective, yes, but who knows how long this could go on?

*Teldra collapsed. Eclipse immediately rushed to her rescue, taking on everything in that area. But he couldn't last much longer. Vlad collapsed. He still swung at whatever came near, but most of the undead had decided he was no longer a threat and had moved onto the fury of claws and other wuch weaponry that were Eclipse and Samshel.*

Sachiel was still working his magic as fast as he could but could feel his energy draining. Ryudo couldn't take it anymore, He fell to his knees, and in his dizzyness and his tired mind, set up a protective wall of flame. Samshel had been beat, and his adversaries were swarming him, grappling onto him and tearing at him; some of them managed to tear off a wing.

*Eclipse managed to draw the creatures away from Teldra, and rescued Samshel, but then he collapsed as well. There were only about ten enemies left, but with only one person remaining, he couldn't take on the necromancer alone, and was probably too tired to even run.*

Sachiel, ironicly, the child of the group was the only one left. His energy was going down the drain, he didn't know what to do! He was still using the magic he could, but he probably wouldn't last another five minutes.

((You can have him collapse too, you know.)) *There were few undead left, but each one was decently strong. They rushed at Sachiel, trying to defeat their last enemy.*
