Now she thought about it... she did see something of the real Mariaye' in these two... just as there was a little of how she saw Maboroshi in the "Cheshire Cat" Could these... "versions" of the real people be how she saw them? Or maybe a representation of how she saw them? She tilted her head innocently thinking about this. 'Hmm...I guess that could make sense... I mean it's my dream right? So...'
The two tweedles finally stopped running circles around her. "We need to ask you a question traveler!"
Kimiko blinked, her eyes switching from one to the other. "Um...okay."

"We were wondering..." both the tweedles began. "do you..." Dee continued.
"Know where we could find..." Dum proceeded.
Kimiko stared between the two waiting for them to finish their fragmented question. She wasn't really in any particular hurry though, after all she suspected that how long she spent here made little difference... if indeed it all was a dream.
"The prince of cat's!" They said together. Kimiko and nearly face vaulted into the ground.
"What! Why do you want to find HIM!?!" Kimiko spouted angrily.
"Because." they both said as one. "The prince of Cat's is soooooo amazing!" Still they spoke as if they a single entity, now preforming cart wheels in perfect synchronization. "We want to find him and become his brides." A large sweat drop appeared over Kimiko's head. She supposed she should have seen this coming. Even if these two were different from the real Mariaye' it seemed they shared her completely upsurd affection for that jerk.
She sighed. "He's..." The two stared at her their eyes wide and innocent. Kimiko for a moment wondered whether to answer with false directions, but her hero's honor prevented it. "He's back along this road. Go around the walls of the mansion and a forest is on the other side... that's were he is."
The Tweedle's hugged her gladly. "Oh thankyou traveler, wasn't that nice of her Dee?"
"Indeed it was Dum. Now," both hopped toward the the direction she specified. "Let us away!"
"Indeed! Have a pleasant day traveler!" With that the two of them went down the road, heading away from the sun.... away from the light.

As the two twins vanished up the road, Kimiko finally turned, heading back on her journey toward the sun... but she bumped into someone who was suddenly blocking the road side. Her face touching the shoulder of a black Kimono.
"My my my, whatever is a prince to do, if you touching me, does it count as me touching you?" Kimiko turned flushed and pushed with all her might.
"MABOROSHI!!" She pushed only air however, one of the hands she thrust out being caught in a gentlemanly fashion by a kneeling Cheshire cat.
"Forgive me my maiden, but it wasn't my doing, I was merely standing there, watching those two fools pursuing." His Cheshire's smirk hadn't faded in any sense. Even as she pulled her hand away and took a step back, he didn't seem at all perturbed.

"Darn it... why are you here? Those two were looking for you you know. And i just sent them back to that forest."
The Cheshire cat shook his head. "Ah, ah, Maiden, but I don't wish to repeat myself... but for I've put my away on a shelf. Those other maiden's bore me to tears to you see... they'd be better of giving up their search for little old me."
Kimiko was still uncomfortable. "Argh...you're terrible, leading them on... why don't you just tell them you don't like them then?"
The Cat waved his finger, "Words do not penetrate thick skulls maiden, surely you know that, let those fools chase my tail, they'll never catch this cat."

Kimiko stuck up her chin walking around him "You're such a jerk... I think I'd actually prefer the real Maboroshi over you."
The Cat's smile... faded. "He's that way you know... the one you might seek."
Kimiko stopped at the sudden change in the Cheshire's voice and mood. She looked back to see him looking down to the ground, his face in shadow. "What?"
"Not just one of me there are in the hidden heart, one being, split into more than one part." he pointed at the sun. "At the base of the sun he does he await, the red queen of hearts merely his bait... he'll be waiting their for you maiden... a host of the lighting the likes of the god Raiden."
Kimiko looked completely bewildered. "What? What are you talking about?"
"I cannot say his name oh maiden... for I am far weaker then he... he is your stronger vision, so his was given more power, when we were given our division."
Kimiko looked almost alarmed now...what was he talking about. "Maboroshi?"

The Cat sighed scratching his head. "I cannot be that one, though mimic him I may... I am merely the facet which flatters you, and spins your mind in circles..." he began to fade, his mouth the last thing left. "the one at the queens gate in your true vision...maybe he'll be able to do more."
Kimiko reached out as the smile disappeared "W-wait!" But the cat was gone... off to parts unknown.
Kimiko was staring suddenly conflicted. 'I've...never seen Maboroshi like that...he's always so...collected...but I've just realized, I've never seen him show emotion like that...never seen him sad, even depressed. He's always either cold, overly happy, or when he does that creepy face... I've known him for 5 years now and I know him better than most...but I've never seen him sad..." Kimiko was frowning. "I mean...he's got feel it sometime right? But he never shows it at all... he shows emotion... but never sadness..." she looked toward the sun. "My true vision..."

The truth of the matter was... Kimiko was almost afraid of what she'd find at the end of this road. Her true vision of Maboroshi... she herself didn't know what to make of him, what she thought of him. But maybe, if her theory was right...then somewhere here in this strange dreamland, what she thought nof him awaited her. It was a rather alarming experience, to see her Nemesis through her own eyes, unclouded.
She didn't want to admit it... but Maboroshi scared her. She didn't even understand why or how, but he scared her, sometimes the thought of being near him caused her heart to beat faster... she was even more terrified of him then she was of ghosts... and she couldn't understand why. Everything from when they'd first met had been dictated by this fear... from the moment he smirked at her, accepting to become her Nemesis. If this fear truly did have a form...what would it be? As she walked along the road toward the sun... a cottage came into view.

Kimiko walked along the road, taking in the sight of the cottage along the way. It was a humble cottage, not too big, not too small, and had a humble yard to go along with it. It seemed that some of the wild flowers from the surrounding field had been picked and set out in troughs along the windows, there fragrance wafting into the house with the pleasant summer like breeze. All in all it looked like a very nice place to live... As she stood before it, her eyes going over it again, she decided to continue on, leaving the cottage be... however it seemed that this dream had other plans, for as she turned to leave a voice called out to her.
"Excuse me miss, could you pass me up that hammer?" Kimiko looked about, noting that the voice came from the roof. There was a ladder tipped up against the cottage, and at the base of it she now saw a box of tools.
"Huh?"
A hand appeared over the edge of the roof, it's owner unseen, but that voice... "That hammer there, in the tool box."

Kimiko looked at the tool box and saw that there was indeed a hammer protruding from it. Picking it up she turned her face upward. "Come on up, you can use the ladder." The voice said calmly.
Kimiko silently complied, intrigued by this mystery individual's request. As she climbed the ladder, Hammer in hand, she finally made it up unto the roof. Setting foot on it, her eyes fell on the source of the voice.
"It's you." Kimiko acknowledged not seeming all that surprised. "The Caterpillar."
The caterpillar looked almost exactly the same as he had when she'd seen him by the pool of feathers... with some difference. For one, one of his eyes was now glazed over and entirely white, a scare running through it, and the other was that his attire, rather than a caterpillar costume, was that of a run of the mill carpenter.

The man gave her the same utterly calm gaze the caterpillar had however, his eyes, while one was a different color, seemingly unchanged. His voice too was just a soothing. "No Idea who you mean... I'm just a carpenter."
Kimiko tilted a her head a little, smiling. For some reason the smile on his face caused her to not be surprised by what he said. "Riiiight, so your the Carpenter huh?"
He put a few nails in his mouth as he took the hammer, setting another nail in place. "That's right, thank you by the way." he started to pound in the nail. "What's a girl like you doing on the road to red castle?"

"The red castle?" She looked toward the sun. "Is that where the queen is?"
"Yep." He answered dully. "The queen...and the queen of hearts."
Kimiko blinked looking befuddled "Wait...you mean there's two queens?"
The carpenter shook his head. "No, only the one. The second one is the just the red queen of hearts... not the queen."
Kimiko blinked. "Umm... what's the difference?"
The carpenter started on another nail. "The difference? Hmm... well one's the queen, the other's not..." he nodded "Pretty simple all thing's considered..."
Kimiko sweat slightly "Umm...welll okay but-"
"What do you think a dreamer who's become a dream inside a dreamer's dream should dream?"
Kimiko looked completely bewildered. "Huh?"

The carpenter looked at her with a measuring gaze. "Hmm...no...your not ready." Kimiko looked at him still with no idea what he was saying. In a swift motion, the carpenter's index finger touched her forehead. "Listen carefully." Kimiko just did so, completely trusting this man. "This place is inside you're own mind, but you're not ready to face what it has too teach you... come back when you've met the original me once again..."
"But...who is the original you?"
The carpenter smiled. "If I could remember that...so would you." his finger pushed on her forehead...
And she woke up.

The breeze past over her face... and a strange air seemed to permeate the very leaves around her. Then as her chakra fully entered her control again. Kimiko realized where and when she was. She allowed her chakra to recede... she was...right back in the tree, the same place she'd always been...she'd never really left. She put a hand over her face. "Was...was I really just meditating all this time... was it...some kind of dream?
The words of the Caterpillar returned to her. "Even if it is a dream... you should take it seriously."
She got to her feet. The sun was already setting...she'd been there for a long time. She even felt a little drained. Had she really been focusing her chakra this whole time... she flexed her own fingers. 'It all felt...so real...' she looked at the sun. 'I should be getting back for dinner I guess... still...'
"...come back when you've met the original me once again..."
She was deep in thought as she did so...

 Hitotsu quietly and hurriedly entered the dojo. After walking for so long to reach the place, he didn't want to end up bombarded at the door. Having no real affects to bring with him, the student walked around to look at all the training devices and gear around the building. His body tingled when he thought of the hotsprings in the back. But that was for later. He needed to train today.
