Oh wasn't that cute, Malik showing off his little runing skills that he did somewhat have. You think he'd ask the master rune mage standing right there but Malik was a prideful creature...personally Sevilin didn't take offense...he was being lazy right now anyway. Watching the other disappear as well then turning his look to Malik. "Such a fun bunch..."
Mumbling a few things under his breath, crossing his arms. "You know, these three are rather jaded toward our race...and they have some bad history with us. Never in my life have I heard of a virus that was produced by others that could work past our immunities and wipe out the whole of the race."

Malik nodded lightly.
"Cahan so far seems the most level headed. adn that other one, Kuro...he's dangerously hot tempered and arrogant. the other..seems more passive."
though a lean forward a bit there.
"Excuse me? they engineered a virus specifically to kill elven kind? In norrath there are powerful necromantic and shamanistic spells that can give us illness or poison..but even then, the effects are reverable if one has the means. but this virus you describe here...something obviously beyond medical or magical cure."
Malik's eyes hardened abit.
"In that case...a closer watch needs to be given to Kuro in particular. Cahan secondly. Dragons are not immortal or invulnerable. If one knows how, in fact, dragons are diffcult, but surprisingly mortal beings. I think perhaps we should prepare to destroy the new allies we have in the event they decide to bite the hand that feeds them, so to speak."

"Well Cahan mentioned it to me as such a thing, and of course I asked about it. That's merely all there is to it. A virus that wiped out all the elves in...wherever they came from. And apparently they eat us too..." Yeah they were just sounding more and more grand. "Though Cahan did try to assure me that this virus creation is lost to these three as of now and we need not worry...though I still am."
A little nod to Malik then. "The third they call Sefu of Earth. I had the...pleasure...of meeting him as well. Very short worded, doesn't like us elves at all. Seems Cahan is the only one who really tolerates us, even sports our ears and I do believe he had something to do with one at some point."
A thinking look a moment before his eyes came back to Malik. "Elemental dragons even more so. I'll work up some runes for you if you wish me to. After all, if you go down you're going to drag me with you and that's not appealing. By the way...I suggest your teach your serfs to quiet those noisy thoughts of theirs...these dragons are mind readers as well and they use that information from others as they wish." Giving a frown at that...after all, Sevilin didn't like others knowing his given name before he told them what it was.

A nod to Sevilin.
"I can arrange that. I'll have my Illusionist make them capable of that. just have to arrange for it to allow malvolence through. Cahan will be our Liason between these dragons and us...and for now lets se hwo this goes for now. You have a son to tend to I imagine, and things are well under control now."
Getting himself up.
"We all have had a long day, and each of us could use some reverie I'm sure. We'll see what tomorrow brings for us."

Sevilin gave a nod, uncrossing his arms and turning on his heel. "Good would make me feel better..." Giving a slight stretch. "Yes, I have a rather I suppose upset son to get back to and I'm sure you have your own family affairs to attend to. Still some night left and I intend to take advantage of that. "Tommorrow then." Walking his way out and into the Underdark, this making his way back home.

Malik let things settle a moment, before getting himself up, and heading upstairs and to his and Piper's room, stretching lightly and watching her a moment.

"Packing?" A look at what she was doing, which was moving things from where she had thrown them on the bed and onto her dresser. "Yes, packing." Said oh so casually now wasn't? But of course it was...she was Piper after all. But for now she leaned against the dresser on her hip and gave him one of those inquisitive looks. "I take it your new business venture is a pleasing one?" After all, he wasn't cranky seeming.

I figure I might as well be on hand for some planning and what not rather than trying to do things across water and distance." Though yes a shake of her head. "We can trust one of them. it's the other one that draws my suspicion. they are dragonkin, elemtenal. one takes a elven guise...the others I met have a certain distaste for our kind. as long as Cahan can control his group, I think things will work well."

"I thought you didn't deal with anyone who didn't like our kind?" Then again it was probably one hell of a deal, but she was more than happy to not know anything about it unless she absolutely needed to. "Because I don't want to sit around waiting and thinking on it until someone thinks 'hey let's call the elf with the funny hair. I'm pretty sure Meilikki could do this thing without me and is only obliging my sense of honor at this point. That doesn't sit well with me. It's not like I'm leaving tomorrow or anything..."

Walking over and helping fold a few things to pack them.
"Something isn't right about this. what are you trying to do? sneak off and hope that neither myself nor our son woudl notice till you were long gone?"

"Why do you always think I'm trying to sneak off. I learned my lesson on that now didn't I?" Which of course she didn't like to talk about but just vaguely mention. "And I would never go off somewhere without telling Malikhai...last thing I want to do is breed a sense of abandonment into our son." Shaking her head lightly as she watched him a moment. "And can't I plan in advance? Let's just say you rubbed off on me in that respect." Again watching him. "If I didn't know better I'd say you were worried about this."

"I'm concerned. How many epic poems or quests can you think of where someone doesn't make it back home? Saving me by potentially destroying you was hardly the tradeoff I would hope for. You're young and strong, and your will is nigh unshatterable...but even you can be killed. and I am not about to see you trapeze off at that human's request without some kind of way or method to help."
He took her hand lightly, brushing his fingers over her wedding band.
"I don't intend to be cast aside or shut out when you are asked to partake of some kind of dangerous task. And Malikhai can't afford to lose his mother like I did."

"I knew what I was doing, when I did it Malik and I knew that I would have a debt called in on me. These things just don't go away. And yes...it is my task to do...but I'm not going to shut you out on it. You think I would do anything on this without telling you first? That's just asking to be slaughtered and I know I'm not invincible, despite how I may act on it. I promise you, every step, you'll know about and if I need help...well I know where I can get it." Reaching a hand up and brushing it over his cheek affectionately, giving him one of those reassuring smiles. "I'm not leaving you or Malikhai, you have my word on that A'mael. But you can't sit around and worry all day either."
