*Once she's certain they've got him steadied, Maggie hunches forward and starts to work. She presses her lips together tightly in concentration, trying to stich the wound closed as neatly and evenly as she can.*

*she focuses again to bring in a basin of warm water and some clean strips of cloth, though she's starting to look a bit winded from everything*

*He looks to King Arthur. It's hard to tell if the guy's awake or not, but ... Luke lets go of his legs. They don't kick back. Luke guesses that's good news for him anyway.*

*Maggie nods her gratitude toward Luke, and then summons up a slight smile to assure Bard* I'll be alright. *she glances back down at their patient, biting her lip again in concern* I just pray that he will be, poor soul ..

*Maggie squeezes Bard's hand and then looks to Luke as he speaks, wincing at the thought* Hopefully the Brink will keep him long enough te recover ...
We'll do what we can, at least. *She releases Bards hand to gather up the bandages she brought in* If ye can just hold him up a bit again ...

Here, I'll get on the other side. *Opposite Maggie, Luke helps her roll the bandages across the wound. With the nice stitch job, the bleeding has pretty much stopped, but there are still dark splotches of blood across the bandages.*

*Maggie secures the bandage in place as they finish* There we are now ... *She turns her gaze to the man's face. His eyes are closed, but she can't tell if he's completely out or not. She reaches out to touch his forhead and then looks to Bard, who's still supporting him* He doesna seem fevered ... 'tis a good sign, I think.

*Bard nods* It's a very good sign. we need to move him somewhere more comfortable, however. We can't leave him at the mercy of whoever might fade in. *he thinks pointedly of crazy women with swords*
Maggie? Do you know what a stretcher is? A sort of litter that can be carried between two people? Do you think you have the strength to conjure one?
