Nicole looks around at everyone talking and sighs. "Um, you guys sure sound like you had lots of fun last year" she says trying to join the conversation. Giving up, she looks back out the window and pets her cat, Basil and feeds her a cat treat. Looking down at her she whispers to the cat, "Dont worry, Love, we'll be there soon. Then you can sleep soundly on my new bed."

Sam smiled at Nicole. "I was excited for my classes too." Sam then walks out into the isle. "Hello Ann! How are you today?" Sam asks to the friendly Gryffindor.

"C'mon, girl. You can make it," says Erik as the train nears the station. For some reason the engine was chugging along more slowly than usual, and the conductor hoped the train would make it to the station before the engine gave out. Eventually the Hogwarts Express comes to a complete stop at Hogsmeade Train Station, and Erik heaves a sign of relief. As the students evacuate one by one, the gamekeeper calls, "Firs' Yers! Firs' Yers to the front to take the boats to Hogwarts!" The First Years make their way to the front and see the boats that await their arrival.
Meanwhile, those second year and above had horseless carriages awaiting them outside the station. As students climb aboard, the carriages shut by themselves as each of the seats become occupied.
((The Great Hall will start it's Start of Term feast soon. You may continue to roleplay in this thread 'til it begins. I apologize for the delay.))

Sam jumps up from her seat. "We're finally here! We can start our second term guys!" Sam then starts to grab her luggage and then runs out the door, almost running over the conductor. When she gets a safe distance from the train, she then sets down her luggage and waits for her friends.
