I suppose when you get down to it though a lot of anime are stupid. Some make up for it by being made of pure win *cough* yu yu hakusho *cough* but others just end up ******** themselves because they become so unrealistic that even fantasy lovers can't connect with them. This mostly becomes a character and plot problem though, not so much as the world the tale creates. And thats the difference between an awesome anime-style world like Avatar the Last Airbender, and something shitty that doesn't make any sense like...BlazBlue.
