For all 180 members (181 but you obviously won't be PMing yourself)? sweatdrop That's kind of crazy... And to think... I was lazy about it with the... eight members of Tides.... discluding myself seven.... but you and Lineth are around so five.... I should stop before I make myself sound even lazier. whee

Hehe, well, not everyone gets a note. As long as they've posted at least once in the last two weeks, they don't get a note. I do have to check all the member's post counts, but that doesn't take too long. And its not all my job or anything. Any crew can do it, I just happened to be on and have the time today. biggrin

So, I assume there's a thread downtown with the information and you just put how many posts they have and when you checked it?

Yep. Then we just update the post count and date every two weeks or so and anyone who hasn't posted at least once in that two weeks (unless they've told us they weren't going to be able to post or have some other special circumstance) gets a little reminder.

We give it about another week and then send a more serious reminder, telling them that if they don't respond within one more week (making a total of one month without a response or post) then they will be banned for inactivity. Of course, there are exceptions. For example, when you're gone to basic, you'll have an exemption, since you still want to be part of the guild, you just aren't able to post. Others with special circumstances get exemptions as well.

Ananda I have updated those who have posted so far, well I still have some more to go but I am getting there that way we aren't sending the reminders that have been posting.

Sryne Interesting. I figured my telling everyone ahead of time would be ticket enough to not receive the black boot. It is. We'll just make an "official" note to keep the whole system uniform. Regulars like you, Mouse or Psy are never in any danger of getting the boot anyway, even if you didn't post in a while. We'd probably just try to contact you to make sure you were ok and weren't leaving the guild (like Booky did). The whole system is more for the newer people who apply adn then never post. You wouldn't belive how many people have been members at least two weeks without a single post.

And the pages of the member list never show the members in the same order, making it easy to miss people. xp
