Pleased (for one should never dance alone unless it was like . . . super party music), she took Brenley's hand and tugged him along amicably. "I'm not that short," Piper snorted with a grin as they made their way to the dance floor's edge. "My hair totally gives me like . . . three or four extra inches when I'm not tying it down like I am right now."
She was just starting to get them over to the center of the three-ringed floor when she felt him resist rather stiffly. And a turn of her head revealed Brenley was . . . rather rigid in posture.
Oh boil.
"Brenley, do you . . . know how to dance?" Piper passed him a curious look as she swayed simply in place. "Like I'll even take a groove in your own box thing so long as you're moving."

"Isnt that the same as floating? " He snickered softly, unable to help but tease her back. The mood was nearly perfect now, there was no repulsive smell and he was dancing with his beautiful friend, perhaps Prom wasn't so bad. The movement and feel of her warmer limbs against his neck wasn't anything new however when the ghoul thanked him he blinked softly a little startled before smirking smugly. "Haha...well I'm glad you came, would have been boring otherwise" As Rosy came to a rest he started to move them, timing the steps in his head just like when he had sparred with Zel.
Dancing wasn't nearly as hard thank Jack as sparring but then again his family had invested in lessons due to social status.
Holding Rosy's hips gently he guided the ghoul around the dance floor, and after a time his head tipped to rest against her soft curls. Spinar felt a strange warmth flood over him and quickly moved his head back up with a forced smirk. Weird. Dipping Rosy to tease her, and so not to distract himself, he purred, "enjoying the dance then," then lifted her back to his chest.

"Cheeky boil." Gene smiled, pulling the Reaper back into a longer kiss. No short kisses for this song, no sir. Her spare hand went to his shoulder as they slowly began a waltz, him leading her. She knew this one, at least.
"Yup, right then. You'd saved me from embarrassing myself, and that pervert Lou. I have to say, Mot, I'm a sucker for a Night in Black Armor - or a cowboil, at least. I never thought it'd actually happen, though." She knocked her head into Mot's chest, breathing him in for a few moments. "And when it did... Jack I'm so amazed how it turned out. You're so much deeper than I dreamed."

"Ahh, there's my baby." Gabby sighed out, exaggerating his relief before chuckling with amusement. Efflo's little whisper in the end made him want to laugh again, but this time, he held back. Maybe it was the peace and content of the moment, or the finality of the end song, or the mood that all these couples together seemed to produce.. but somehow, Gabby knew when to keep his mouth shut, for once. So he didn't laugh. Instead, he kissed Efflo's forehead, and held him close, as they swayed with an aching slowness. "Yeah. Well. I kind of like you." He whispered. "A lot."

Sophie blushed deeply and let her hand settle on his shoulder, her other resting softly on his own for a moment before she let her fingers curl around his. She glanced around at the others on the dance floor and suddenly felt very self conscious and cleared her throat. She stepped a little closer towards him; their closeness making her feel a little safer.
"I had a really wonderful night, Bastion," she said quickly. "Thank you for asking me to prom." Then she took a deep breath and her brows furrowed as she concentrated. "Ready."

"True. This is my first year getting out here for prom and doing well... pretty much anything. Crowds and larger gatherings are a bit intimidating for me, so I asked a friend to come with me. He helped me get in the door, though it was nice to take some time to look around at everything." She replied, quite enjoying the dance as they twirled around the floor. For once she wasn't really missing her feet, as it probably would have caused more embarassment if they were there. "I hope you had a enjoyable evening all the same."

"I'm gratified to hear that, my rose. My goal was to make sure your night was nothing less than perfect." He waited until she said she was ready, before the hand on her waist curled further, picking her up off the ground and holding her against him. He settled her down carefully, until she was standing on his feet, with her toes. And as soon as he felt she'd settled, he was off, sinuously leading her through the crowds. Never had he been prouder to have this one particular talent. "Feel my feet underneath yours. This is called a waltz. I learned it at a very young age, among others. Fun, isn't it?"

" That's really happy to hear that." There was still whispers. This Prom meant a lot to him, he got a marvelous partner, had a great fun at the booths, ate some nice foods and drinks, got some good prizes for both. He enjoyed it so much and hope the little witch felt the same also. He had been prepared since the beginning of the month and that was the first time he wore a dress and high heels. The Santa giant was a surprise, but it didn't affect his mood at all. Getting out from his memories, he released the grasp on Maple's waist, instead he grabbed her other hand with his and gave some more breathing space to the witch. Back and forth, and back and forth. Slowly and tenderly, swinging their bodies with the soft music. And then he held up the ghoul's hand to let she turn. He wasn't really used to the static steps of the balldance video he watched before the prom came.

Rosy actually squeaks softly when Spinar dips her, causing her to look up at him shocked before she nods a little "Yes, I am." a blush creeps across her cheeks before she repositions her hands so the were both resting on his chest. Tilting her head, she glance up at him as she taps a finger for a moment against his jacket "Oh, so I seem to keep this fun for you? This is good to know, whatever are you going to do if I wasn't able to see you for more then a day." she teases him as she sticks her tongue playfully at him.
Everything was back to normal between them, except part of her kept going back to that kiss at the fun house.
Nope, purely accidental.
Nothing more..

Sophie's blush only deepened when Bastion lifted her up, settling her form on his feet. For a brief moment she felt horrible; self conscious and awkward. Then he started to move and Sophie let out a little 'oh', eyes widening in surprised. Bastion moved fantastically and even though she wasn't really doing anything, it felt wonderful. She was pleasantly surprised.
"Bastion, you're so amazing," she breathed, smiling up at him. "Absolutely wonderful."

“…I’m not a baby,” he pouted, though the furrow of his brow was quickly smoothed away by Gabby’s gentle kiss. “Only like? And here I am, loving you,” Efflo murmured softly, though the boil was now smiling, unable to help it. It was hard to frown when the suddenly he had excited butterflies fluttering in his stomach, anxious to hear those three words, even though he’d heard them many times before. To the horse, they’d never get old; they’d never lose their thrill. Tonight was no exception. “How disappointing.”

Soren watched Bastion go, knowing that if he was so close to the priestess he would probably have to have a talk with him. One on one. Possibly over a spar. There was nothing that two men couldn't work out if they really got into it, struggling, sweaty and caked with dirt, muscles aching as they tried to overpower one another. Yes, it would be good to just work things out. But for now he was with the priestess so with a meaningful nod toward the jewelcrafter he focused his attention back on her, hands wandering down as he thought about the devious look in her eye. His thumbs were still on her lower back at least as they danced the last dance. Nio Love Senpai believes in teaching via demonstrations. He's up for it if you are.

Willow nodded, "Ah yeah I normally hate crowds, and loud music, but prom always has something interesting going on in it. So I figured why not come even if I didn't have a date." She grinned, "Last year they had a murder mystery, it was pretty fun."
There were perks to coming to prom despite the dislike of large crowds and loud music. "I'm sure there were games here somewhere."
"I have, for the most part. Almost killed myself with my shoes. I had to hide them, lucky me I don't mind not wearing shoes." She chuckled as they danced, it was quite a fun way to get to know someone..

Really, she was happy to hear he was pleased. He had told her the minute they had gotten here that he wanted her to enjoy herself, and she didn't fail him. Didn't disappoint and that had filled her with a lot of dread. But she did have fun. Really.
And the breathing room was so very much appreciated, she held onto his hands as tightly as she could as they continued into their new formation and realizing what he intended to do, she let herself turn and spin before returning to AJ.
"D-did you h-have f-fun?"

Sophie's compliments, as genuine and awed as they were, managed to make Bastion blush ferociously. He did not falter a step, but his movements did slow, managing to turn the waltz that he'd carried Sophie out with into something softer, gentler, more comfortable. "Sophie, I will not sit here and debase myself, but I would feel remiss if I did not offer this one bit of truth. I am a good dancer. But I don't think that deserves such high compliments." He couldn't help but turn her away from where he'd left Soren and Nergui, in the hopes she did not see what amazing and wonderful truly meant. "It warms my heart to know that my talents make your day more pleasurable." What was that the stallion had said? Only for her - ah, wait, Bastion remembered where that topic of conversation had gone. And promptly pushed it all out of his mind.
